I finally understand now. I waited until I got my hero to 70 before trying out Grade 3 busters. I understand how painful it is no other heroes in the party. Even though there was no leechers and everyone did their best their was just no way I could stop the towers from falling as the only hero. What is this sorrow I feel. Probably didn't help when I found out after everyone was undergeared/leveled. Can just anyone apply for grade 3? That's kinda fucked if so.

You need to start both the ep4 and ep5 stories to get access to featured quests and buster quests. Other than that, just start with episode 1 and enjoy the ride.
Episode 1-3 uses the matter board system which is a pain in the ass but if they changed it the code would probably break all over. Episode 4 and 5 use the story board in the bridge.

You need to start Ep4 and 5 to get access to important content. If you start at Ep1 and never touch them you won't even be able to unlock subclasses since they updated the requirements for those to mobs only found in Tokyo.
Honestly there is very little point in playing through Ep1-3. They use a very archaic and cumbersome system, the matterboards, that has you farm random drops to unlock new story segments, it's really shit.
Just do Ep4 and then move on to 5. Sega is currently working on "Omnibuses" for the first three episodes that completely remove the shitty matterboards and just give you all the cutscenes and story missions without the retarded grind, currently only the Ep1 Omnibus is out but it shouldn't take too long for Ep2 and 3 to be done, so if you are interested in those parts of the story you can experience them without having to waste dozens of hours of your life farming shitty trash mobs.

How do the FoTe tree/s look like nowadays?
With all the changes and increased SP it looks like you can get multiple elements on the same one, is that a good idea or do you give up too much for that still?
I have 2 Fo and 2 Te trees from before so that wouldn't really be an issue.

Don't forget that solo PD is an extremely Force friendly fight as it gives constant access to Super Treatment, Fo can easily cheese double legs and PD himself has plenty of downtime so Fo PP issues aren't as much of a problem. On top of that, solo PD is light weak so Force gets to use full power Ragrants. All of these factors and Fo still loses to most classes on solo PD.
