Kind of the right idea, but you're wrong mechanically. Nerfing broken cards won't make people lose faith in Blizzard, they're broken to sell more packs. People want to pull and craft and buy these cards. I don't know if it still does, but Riot was really bad about this with League of Legends. You release a single, expensive overpowered hero and then after you've tricked everyone into buying it you nerf it a month and a half or so later so the playerbase doesn't get mad enough to start hemorrhaging and you still get more money than you otherwise would.

Yes it is.

Hydrologist grabs eye for an eye 60% of the time, and you have two of them in your deck, giving you a 84% chance to get it if you draw both, which curator helps with. Functionally, they are pretty much exactly the same. For both you need to get the mage to lethal range (1 less damage required if using eye for an eye) because quest mages run absolutely no healing. You don't go for redundancy in tech options. No deck goes for double eater of secrets, ever.

The other reason why running eater of secrets in control paladin is because ice block isn't usually the thing that kills you. Eater of Secrets is for decks that can consistently bring the mage to lethal range before they die. Control paladin is such a slow deck that the mage will probably go off half of the time before you even broke a single block, so that eater of secrets in your hand does nothing.

You also added a card to your deck that only rarely helps in one match up. Quest mage is less than 4% of ladder. What a retarded tech option.

19-15: noobland with some netdeckers with no idea how to pilot their netdecks (they will probably win though sheer powerlevel anyway if you're new)
15-10: netdecks piloted kinda ok and oddballs, more or less the same quantity
10-5: the lower you go the more netdecks , at this point they're all well piloted. Close to rank 5 you may find some memers that use the rank floor to horse around.
5-legend: nothing but tryhards piloting tier 1-2 netdecks perfectly. Rank 2 below is expecially excruciating, I think I've met 60% JD, 20% paladins, 15% aggro druid and 5% Token shaman.
Legend: haven't played much here because I was tilted and exausted by the climb.

I personally think they fucked up after all the positive feedback they got from the Overwatch shorts. They thought that people loved them because they were close to Disney and Pixar shit.

In reality, the shorts help expand the fantasy of Overwatch, and fantasy is something Hearthstone has almost none of.

Overwatch at least has the pretence of being heroes vs villains, even if it isn't reflected in game. Hearthstone on the other hand is far more 'videogamey' than the other franchises. Literally no-one thinks, or likes to imagine, that they are in a tavern playing Hearthstone. This is a theme that Blizzard constantly attempts to reinforce and I cannot fathom why. I realise they want to have a backdrop of their video game that helps set the scene but they've demonstrated they have no fucking clue how to achieve this by making the Tavern some bullshit Room of Requirement demilitarized zone where everyone likes to play cards.

Yes, you're allowed to enjoy the short, no-one is denying that. You have to ask yourself though, if they're releasing a short that cost thousands of dollars to produce, and aiming it at children, what exactly is their end-game here? My legendaries are:

Decks I enjoyed most in the past are Discard Warlock, Egg Druid, Pirate Warrior and Secrets Mage. Probably have shit taste in decks, but these were just really fun to play.

Anduin imo, if you think you'll like it. EDH priest is still good in Wild, and there's still a long while until next rotation. Even just doing your dailys you'll get enough dust to make this decision moot.

I'd say Anduin/Tarim>Malfurion>Aya, mostly because they have a higher chance of being in multiple deck archetypes. Cards like Aya can go in multiple classes, but they'll all just be Jade decks in the end.

Honestly just craft the one you feel you'll enjoy using most.

Would quite like to see more legendaries in the future that are like Ragnaros, Lightlord (ie: an old card that's been flipped around)
