Not quite, there's a lot of shared mechanics, but there's a few significant differences as well, most obviously, both you and your opponents are on a 3 by 3 grid, with your megucas each occupying one space, as do most normal enemies, however some bosses take up multiple spaces, along with this, one of the types of disc (basically the cards, each character has their own layout of 5, you randomly draw 5 a turn from the pool and pick 3 to use), is aoe, the blast, which can be either horizontal or vertical.

there's also connect, which charges up after using the same girl to attack multiple times, and uses one characters disc to allow another to attack and grants a boost to them that turn, ranging from attack boosts, to heals, to taunt effects.

Also besides connect and magia (NP), the characters don't have skills, but some memoria (ces) grant active skills, and you can unlock additional memoria slots for a character by acquiring multiple copies.

There's probably more but that's the most obvious stuff, I suppose.

Actually, after checking episode 10, there's no way Chiwa is Moemura in the game. Her voice is much deeper and more remniscent of normal Homura in the show. The problem here is the compatibility restrictions on downloading the app from the store. I have a Nip account, so I can download/update most Nip games directly. But due to the aforementioned compatibility shenanigans, the app doesn't show up on my end. That's the case if the app is deemed as "incompatible" with you device. Actual hardware capability be damned.

This isn't just a problem on gaijin's end either. Lots of Nips are actually complaining about this. A lot of them actually sideload apks at the moment because of that retarded compatibility lock. Their complaint is that if the "Must be downloaded from the playstore" rule becomes absolute, then they wouldn't be be able to play the game either despite their devices being more than able to handle the game.

Yet, it's still superior to FGO in general.
FEH is literal horrible trash with a story written by a seven yearold and probably the biggest jew trash that was ever made, the IV system, which can make even your SSR's practically useless and it also uses a "p2w" pvp system which is even more p2w by your standards since the IV system exists.
Grandblue is even worse than FGO, it looks horrible, the menu looks like it's from a shitty flash game from the early 2000's (oh the irony) and the sprites and animations look worse than Pokemon Red sprites. The only thing GBF has going for it is the art, which get's boring pretty fast since it's all done in the same style.
