Probably, I actually managed to keep the last soul alive with enter the coliseum and reduced his attack to 1 with FOLLOW DE RULZ (the 3/3). Then I just decided to rush the horseman tokens with the 2/3 who allows you to hero power twice because beardo was in the bottom of the deck, so he obviously killed it. Then he tried to suicid the last soul on one of my horsemans, and did it, then nothing happened and Lich king just spent all his turns on killing a horseman. Then I just had to draw Beardo and won.

Every paladin deck should be running 2x Righteous Protector and 1x Tirion. Most should also run 1x Wickerflame and 2x Shielded Medibot in wild. There aren't that many Jade druids, token druids usually run Jeeves and there are almost no secret paladins. Also, pirate warriors are beatable by a wide variety of decks, even with Ship's Cannon.
I've hit wild legend in the last 2 seasons and both times the meta was much more varied and less cancerous than standard.

If you're just referring to expensive Reno lists in general then there's no definite answer to your question as there are lists that don't run one or both. Shadow Reaper Anduin's OTK/damage potential has made Kazakus Brann (and N'zoth) value much less important.

I don't think Geist's cost is the problem. If a druid has a jade idol in their hand, they don't hoard it for very long, so the likelihood of destroying additional jade idols doesn't go up by that much. When I played control pally, the real problem was being able to survive the wave of normal jades when the druid is 3+ mana ahead of you. You just got run over regardless unless you drew into your answers well, and that would've happened even if you had paid 3 less mana for geist.

Big priest is cancer because it's a super high variance deck. It wins and loses on early barnes turns. Playing it is essentially flipping a coin, it's frustrating.

I've never tried either, since they're both epics and I don't have them, but Light's Sorrow seems like it would be decent in wild where you've got a full 6 divine shields plus Seal of Champions to work with. If you can manage even two divine shield breaks with it, then it's a 3/4 for 4, which is above curve.
