Anyone know if the "Morrowind Day One Edition" which includes base ESO, Morrowind, and the discovery pack works if you already have base ESO?

I'm considering buying the ESO gold pack for $30 on Steam, then getting the Morrowind day one thing for $18 from ruskies and tying that to my account for basically $50 for almost the whole thing. No idea if that would work or not but as far as I can tell you can activate a retail Morrowind to a Steam copy of ESO so long as you do it on ESO's webpage, but I don't know if it throws a shitfit with that particular version of Morrowind if you already technically have ESO.

What do you lads think of this for a pvp stamplar build: 5x spriggan's, 5x shackle breaker and 2x selenes. I'm too broke for ravager

So far I'm having a pretty fun time with my guy. I can pop my ult and maintain it pretty well, especially in camps. I did it one time and while I had mine going to kids invited me to their group and they popped the pack leader ones and had to go through 2 cycles of their ults while I kept mine for 30 minutes. I had popped a psyjic ambrosia my friend gave me so that was why I stopped and to get my gear.

I run a stamina/heavy armor build but end game I want a heavy and 5/2 heavy/medium set for 5/2 stam/health

I also bought that 500 crown kit

What's the module in AUI that shows things like spell notifications? For example I want a popup showing when I can cast Crystal Fragments for free when the 35% chance procs. If it's not in AUI then what addon has this?

a) I'm a 100hour newbie who didn't go to PvP Cyrodiil yet on any character. Got a lvl 12 DK now, is there any point going there right now? By that I mean, are low level players viable there at all?

b) Speaking of said DK, how fucked am I for going with medium armor, 1h+shield, fire/absorb health enchants and only draconic power? Didn't want to go with heavy armor and 2h since that was my first character I abandoned a long while ago. I'm mainly focused on PvE and normie questing though.

I like the group one. Saves me a peek at the party menu. and I'm generally used to seeing class, role, and level from other games. I might agree with you on the perma/long-time buffs, but I'm not sure how much I can customize it. It's mostly there to remind me what bars have skills that give me buffs when they're slotted, and the timer on food buffs. The quest log I've just been fucking about with, but I can reduce its size or change the way it works by just clicking on the little arrow. Kinda comfortable with the map size since it aligns with the quest log width. Kinda like the inventory bar, I think it's charming and makes me deal with a full inventory faster than just numbers would. Of course it has a feature to hide it until it reaches a certain threshhold, which I might fuck about with. The bar in the middle is the current target, the bar at the top is the boss health, it's more for when there's multiple bosses or bosses with adds. EXP bar is just a bit of preference.

Iunno, I still kinda like it.

What have you accomplished today?

I was able to get all these skills morphed. I'm regretting using that howl and not the synergy one. But I want damage I don't see how that would help me giving boosts to others. Also made it to 34 and I still have 3.5 xp scrolls left from that crown pack. I love that little panther cub speaking of which, I may be the only one who does this but do you quick slot your pets and unequip them when you ride a horse or take it to a really dangerous place. The main reason is cause it's a cub

Look at the morphs baby. When you slot a skill it gains xp doing more damage/heals whatever. When it hits rank 4 you can choose to morph it, adding new passives to the skill or changing it. Some skills can be changed from magicka to stamina or stamina to magicka. Also, all weapon skills apart from resto and destro staves use stamina. And don't dismiss magicka night lads, they are really fun and strong.

The problem is I'm violently opposed to MMOs and they tend to bore me to tears. And even though it looks like ESO has some mild choices in the quests which looks kinda fun I also think I would probably end up thinking I should just play a regular TES or something instead.

Funnily enough, I don't really feel like ESO is an MMO. When you're playing, you can just tune everyone out and roll through whatever quests you want. You can find adventure in any direction with any weapon you'd like. Visit legitimately any province (though not all parts of each province).

It's fun to just run rampant, exploring, whacking baddies.

It's sort of like a dip down the centre. In the beginning, you're pretty strong, then, as you start figuring things out, it gets harder. That way, you have skills to fall back upon, rather than raw stats. As you get closer to max level, you'll start exploding things in no time.

A max level character is far beyond a min level character, despite the fact that min levels can still participate in content.
Don't worry about levels, beyond your own gear.

You can buy it from the crown store, which makes you a retard. You can get bitten by special werewolf enemies in specific location in specific zones, and they only show up on specific days of the in game month at specific times, this is how you used to have to do it. Easiest way is to get bitten by another player at one of the shrines. They are located in the rift, bangkorai, and reapers march. No, only one at a time. You can cure one and then do the other, but it's easier just to do it on two characters. Werewolf is leveled while killing enemies while a werewolf, so you can probably level it on a low level character in a couple hours. Vampire takes more fire damage for each stage they are in. Health regen is also seriously fucked. For some classes like Templar, nightblade, and sorcs with surge that can self heal with skills or crit it's not an issue. They get increased stamina and magicka Regen with passives at stage 2 and beyond, higher resists when close to death at stage 3 or 4, and can move at max speed while stealthed at stage 4.

Werewolves take 25% more damage from poison while transformed, but gain more resists as well. They get a huge increase to speed, so they can sprint faster than horses. They get a big buff to damage, get the stats from armor sets, and huge Stam Regen. They also get special abilities while transformed and can do tremendous burst damage. There is also a high level passive that greatly increases how long you can stay transformed if you are in a pack of other people while you are all transformed, and packs of werewolves are hilarious in PvP.

Swallow soul, shades for annoyance, whatever that slow is, merciless resolve for burst, leeching ult to piss off groups. I used to run an ice staff just to slow people and annoy them more. Swallow soul weaving with light attacks to keep you healthy, the shades will do damage even when you line of sight enemies and will help to keep pressure up/divide their attention, then shoot your spectral bow for big burst damage to bring them into execute range for impale. I'm sure there are other better builds, but this is what worked for me.

just keep in mind that if the skill consumes magicka then its damage/heal scales with your magicka pool, if it consumes stamina then its damage/heal scales with your stamina pool
so don't spread your stats thin and choose between stamina and magicka

Shards also recover some of the secondary resource (for magicka users, stamina; for stamina users, magicka)

Except for specific bosses, the secondary resource is very often not necessary, or the natural recovery rate is good enough for most cases. Templars may also be using Repentance or Radiant Aura which will recover stamina or magicka too.

Energy Orbs also heal, and they provide more heals per tick than a lot of other healing abilities even though the amount is relatively small.They also provide a big heal when they are popped by other members. I got it gifted by a friend who had a second copy for some reason. I was expecting something really dumb. Turns out it isn't stupid, even some crafting mechanics are better (alchemy and enchanting feel more engaging to me, not to mention smithing will all the traits and improvements and shit). I get to see places not fleshed out before (bit of Alinor, southern Morrowind, Valenwood, guess High Rock counts too, since TES2 world is a randomised meme). The fact that you can skip PvP entirely and just play it as a normal TES game is the best thing in it for me.
Sure, the quests are linear, but it's not like they weren't in Oblivion and Skyrim for the most part. Game is good and I'm pleasantly surprised despite some mild lore rape.

So I bought the game on steam because 10 bucks why not. Cleaned up my hard drive so i'd have space for it, says it needs 87gb. I download it through steam, launch it only to be confronted with another installer telling me I need 87gb. Wtf is this shit

I lurked for a few threads before I bought it and had heard up to 131 gigs, but from what I was reading on the steam community it sounded like non steam was the way to go. I'm not social and only use steam when I absolutely have to though, but it sure sounded like steam had troubles with it.
And any game that just uses its own launcher seems silly to play in steam for me, that's just one more thing taking away from your game's performance, but muh /soc/ features they say.

Pretty basic.

Lightning is aoe, sorcs specialty, have a line devoted to it, get bonus to lightning.

Fire is single target oriented, dk specialty, give them a line devoted to it, get bonus to fire.

Ice is defensive/slow, give wardens a line devoted to it, get bonus to ice.

Why give sorcs bonuses to both single target and aoe, that might make them over powered oh wait.

Bought this because 9 bucks on Steam, why not. I'm level 11 as a Dragon Knight. Can you respec attribute later? I've put everything in Stam so far. Am I suppose to take skills in multiple class trees or just stick to one? Can I respec skills later?
Tried googling some of this shit but most of the info is from 2015 and don't know how updated it is.

You respec attributes and skill points at shrines in the main faction cities and vivec city at any time. I'd recommend keeping one skill from each of your class trees slotted so you can level the skill lines for later skills and the passives. Also keep a skill from your weapon on your bar.

New to this game and just finished Stonefalls. While it was ok, I got rather tired of the lava/volcanic shit despite loving Morrowind. Any suggestions where I should go next instead of Deshaan?

yeah it works for soloing. if you want to tank in dungeons you may need one hand and shield. 2h+heavy armor is for tanky dps and good soloing build.

Dual wield gives you better aoe and good single target damage as well as a damage shield with brawler. Dual wield gives you better single target and some more aoe defense with blade cloak. They are a lot closer in performance now than they were thanks to some buffs to twohander.

Go to Eastmarch or Riften. Can't get more opposite than that or if you don't mind not continuing your faction questline try Auridon which is imo the comfiest area in the game
