Is there anything as lazy and effective as righteous fire?

I tried like 6 builds when this season started, dp zerk, dp totems, aura whore necro, etc and finally gave in to RF.... I'm not hating it or anything, actually I'm pretty impressed at 82 right now.

But before blowing all my currency in some top end item... I'm uncertain if there's anything even more casual. I looked into auto bomber but it seems the damage is abysmal for ST.

So is there anything else that plays as lazy as RF and is similar in effectiveness? saw some cwdt zerk build, but afk gone balls or something, but in the comments they say it's trash.

Warlord's Mark is already reduced by 60% against bosses, and 80% against Shaper. Plus if you jump into a hexproof magic pack, you're straight up fucked if the map is even slightly dangerous. THEN, it doesn't work against totems, so you have to either craft a Delirium amulet and pray for good rolls, use Broken Faith which greatly decreases your deepz, or use Atziri's promise which is limited use and takes up a flask slot just to leech.

Or you can go zerker, take the hit on DPS, and be able to leech 103% life and 3% mana from everything without taking up a curse.

Vaal Pact really does embody the central issue of the game far more than Berserker. Berserker is a problem that stems from VP which is also at the heart of Leech in general being dogshit since the only dangerous enemies either one-shot you, making even VP useless, or does a massive amount of damage that without VP, you could never hope to out-sustain it, since usually 2 hits and maybe a degen will obliterate you.

They are very strong, but it has also something to do with dark pact / RF being strongest on berserker. You can nerf berserker but RF works just fine on a juggernaut as well, so it wouldn't really change much.

Also softcore generally plays stuff like raider, berserker, assassin etc much more since they don't care much about dying.

What you're describing is actually the tricky part. Where do you draw the lines in affix tiering?
If you set it too low, Rares are still worthless for the most part, since their range of outputs is so huge that you need to get stupidly lucky for a good roll.
If you set it too high, it's too easy to gear up and nothing has any real value.
