I am just playing DA2 for the first time and made it to the point where the Chnatry goes boom. I now have only have 3 companions. Isabela ran a long time ago, Bethany is a Gray Warden, Anders (my husbando) I killed for the explosion, Fenris got butthurt and left, all I have is Varric, Merril, and Aveline.

I hope Bioware adds a mini-game like Gwent in Dragon Age 4. They have to after seeing how much people loved it in Witcher 3.

Inquisition has these tarot cards with some great art style, most of them are hidden in the codex section of the game, so not many players see them. It would have been great if they had made something similar to Gwent out of them.

i liked da2 story a lot, while confusing if you don't do some side quests or companion quests on a whole I thought it was great. The only issue with da2 is the repeating of dungeons, no good fast travel (walking across the entire city was horrible), the infinite waves of enemies, and the lack of real choice, the main story stays largely the same no matter what you do. Also some stuff (like Leandras death) was over the the top and seemed to just come out of nowhere. The whole storyline was pretty good though. Don't get why there is so much hate for the game.

Well, his exact answer to "Is someone of Bioware going to Gamescom" was "Not I", so that could mean Darrah is going. He is the Executive Producer of the series, so it would make sense for him to be there, even more than Laidlaw. Now that Andromeda is confirmed out of the picture, that Bioware person can't be related to Mass Effect and I doubt they already have another video of Anthem to show.

Why would you skip the side quests and the companion quests? They are the best things about the game. Actually, I think, Dragon Age 2 has the best side-quests of all the games in the series.

People hate Dragon Age 2 because the game was a heavy downgrade from the first game of the series: Dragon Age Origins, and EA forced Bioware to develop the game in a period of 1.5 years. As you mentioned, the repeating dungeons with terrible level-design and waves of enemies spawning out of nowhere were some of the main issues with the game. Kirkwall looked bland and lacked depth. Act 3 was clearly rushed and the overall game felt short. Despite all of its flaws, I think Dragon Age 2 is a good game. They didn't sacrifice in the storytelling and the characters department. The combat was fun. Hawke was a great protagonist, I loved his dialogue and backstory.
