I don't know how deep the alliances go, I know the Margrave and Wu are both deeply inline with devadra though due to taking some of there magic into their bodies respectively, Tyto, Paako and Knossis are all "friends" though.
But if I understand correctly the 2 big houses are in the same city so I doubt the hate goes super deep on the majority of characters sides. Some are legit mercenaries like you say though like Tripp, Beckett and Imani so they probably see these fights as another job and feel no real emotion either way.
Infact Tripp and Imani have an implied ""friendship"" and they are differently aligned in houses.

From what I remember of the lore, the heroes aren't permanently affiliated with any Houses. They work and leave for whichever ones aligns with their interests the most, but are mostly free and do whatever they want. Some certainly have closer ties like Xenobia and how she is/was? the top acolyte to Lady Devaedra herself.

There are five Great Houses with different beliefs and cultures:
- Aurion: Praise the motherfucking SUN
- Devaedra: Dark magicks 'R Us
- Tesserus: Fuck magic, let's make fuckbots
- Karakesh: Knights and Fights
- Melkior: It's a secret to everybody

Less is known about Karakesh and Melkior than the others at the moment. Each one would have their own Guardian though, and if I remember right, Melkior's would have been a Lovecraftian abomination.

I personally don't mind current queue times. I got once 5+ min, but it was early morning in Europe, so no surprises here. Usually it takes 1-2 min max to find another game. Match making on the other hand is very irritating. I just want to play with people of similar skill, not some high level tryhards.

They nerfed his ability to chase and all-around just move around now that he's so stamina starved (at least if you're using Pierce), so if MO wants to buff him they really need to cement him more as a beefy frontliner (who instead of providing outright CC or initiating power can demolish enemies with high damage if enemies ignore him)

Give him more health or a bit of armor, make Bruiser easier to use, and buff baseline Gore somehow and/or Bulldoze since the launch-path is overpowering the whole ability right now and Knossos will be fine.

He's still pretty good, but he has both glaring weaknesses (which isn't necessarily a bad thing for a game like this) and powerful outliers in his upgrades that need to be rebalanced and juggled around.

At levels 3/5/7/9 you were able to unlock a talent (There were no clash talents, focus actually had upgrades). You got a choice of 5 talents.

Each hero had two paths which dictated what talents they could choose at level 3 and level 7.

The talents at level 5 were specific to each hero (Like talents now) and the talents at level 9 were generic and the same for every hero (Bonus damage, Bonus health, Bonus armour, Bonus Stamina, bonus focus gain)

The main problem was that some paths had really bad upgrades, like bonus focus for attacking the wound.

The system itself was good though.

i tried gigantic and its decent as long as im not moving, attacking, jumping or being attacked, and my frame rate plunges if im doing anything mildly enjoyable
