Dive comp or bursty deletion comp. Pick comps work too. Pretty hard to counter double support at lower levels because people don't know to focus fire priority targets though. Or you go with your own double support and out sustain the other team.

Malf/Uther isn't actually as hard to deal with compared to a Lucio/Uther comp which covers single target burst and AoE sustained healing

Took me a while to get used to her. I think she's one if the harder supports to play well. Positioning is super important on her because you have to be in position to land your Qs, hold your E to either peel for someone or set up stuns but avoid getting caught out of position. Healing is a lot easier if you have a battery who can play their hero well because then you just spam heals off cooldown, but if you don't, or you've talented your tank to be your battery then you also have to constantly watch your energy so you can heal at the right time. Also aegis on the right person at the right time.

So I love garrosh as a character, but how is he as a hero?

I've beaten every garrosh I've fought and every time I or another person on my team have tried him, we lose.

It just seems like he doesn't have enough self healing/shielding to support his passive, even if you take the Q shield talent and the extra W healing. He's great for a few early game picks with a Q > E combo but past that he just feels sub-par to like every other warrior, meta or not. Maybe I'm just missing some important play aspect?

if you are trying to play a main tank like an assassin or bruiser you are not doing your job. You keep your team alive, soak up (ability) damage, function as a mobile ward and facecheck bushes/rotate unsafe to provide vision, and decide engagements. Trying to finish/chase/secure kills often means poor engagements and can fuck your team if they follow up on your bad engage. Well for 1, Garrosh absorbing ability damage is pants on head retarded because nothing in his kit supports that.

And for two, as is evident in every screenshot and post game score screen, Garrosh doesn't even do that well. If you face check you can't Q anything. If you face check you can't E anything because you're most likely alone, face checking a bush, and throwing the enemy tank into your backline helps literally nobody. Garrosh cannot decide engagements because at best you can isolate one person, at worst, you pull more than one and chuck a non-important enemy into your backline.

Garrosh is incapable of getting kills, even if it his the lowest thing on his list of priorties. He's a strong utility champ, but quite literally with this kit he should be a melee support who specializes in CC. Even Johanna does more damage than Garrosh, AND has the benefit of unbreakable, on top of AOE blind. Garrosh has a 0.75 second stun on a 20 second cooldown. At 20 he gets 20% dmg down to the enemy and that's about his most redeeming trait. Garrosh is shit no matter how you look at it. He has a place in high level comp if you want to win before level 10, but past that he's worth less than trash.

Garrosh has pretty high AA damage and but a low-ish swing speed (actually to his advantage because it means he doesnt miss out on much damage when moving to continue bodyblocking).

He can get solo kills when he plays well and his sustained damage over time is pretty ridiculous. At level 10 his groundbreaker + wrecking ball + bloodthirst + aa + decimate deals a combined 802 damage, without accounting for body check or warbreaker level 5. By the time he's done all that he's probably going to be hitting another AA (or 2 if he's bodyblocking well) which jumps it up to about 1190 damage over ~3 seconds (wait, forgot two decimate hits for +284 damage at level 10). While not super burst it also isn't entirely insignificant. It's minimum 1/3rd of the hp of every non-butcher assassin. And still a good 1/3rd to 1/4 hp of all the tanks, and about half the hp of everyone else.

When you get to level 16 he's potentially doing shit like this every 5-8 seconds. And between his armor and self sustain he certainly has the ability to stay in a fight long enough to pull this nonsense.

I've experienced plenty of "I'm not AS bad as you think I am," never "I'm actually better than you but you stole my precious kills." The fog of war is still the same, but you can see a larger unscouted range yeah. It helps quite a lot I find. It makes it easier to track down the source of some of the audio prompts, and it gives you a better idea of where enemies might be throwing skillshots from if you can't see them.

It's the same as having autistic map knowledge, but a bit easier.

Just ask your team if they have any preferred bans. If nobody answers, then nobody has a right to complain. As a general rule though 1st ban is meta, second ban is reactive to the enemy team comp.

The other Stukov seem to regularly push people from one fort to their fort, I'm happy if I can stun them long enough for me to survive.

Plus, I play QM, so there's frequently tons of dive. But that's on me, not the hero.
