tough choice

Either resurrected Shepard with all the cybernetic implants, although a good portion of him/her is made from flesh that was unfried (?)

Or Saren, who got lots of cybernetic implant, e.g. his whole arm and the stuff in his face.

I´d say Saren is the most machine person. Geth dont count right ?

>they followed the source of the missing people to a cave east of town
>they sent in squad after squad of turians but none of them came back
>getting desperate they call for reinforcements
>3 turian black watch squads show up
>after greetings they venture into the cave
>along the way they find body after body of dead turians solders
>coming to the end of the cave they find a giant monster huddling in the corner over a nest
>the squad is in shock while looking at the 15 foot tall beast
>before they could react the beast turns and lounges at the squad
who wins
>>
>>186600704
depends how much energy is in that grain. E.g. a couple of Atoms accelerated by the LHC have the same energy as an Artillery shell

>>

I´m betting on the Turians, depending on the surrounding they can split up and fire at the death claw from all sides, whereas the deathclaw has to focus in one direction.

What about transporting rovers, combat vehicles, and supplies in large quad-vector thrust VTOLs?

Supplies to a colony, either going directly from orbit, or flying out to a separate outpost while the ship idles at the main colony.
Delivering combat rovers with mounted 20mm cannons to squads down on the ground, when fast movement is important.
>>
>>186603982

Lasers or plasma bolts.
Or who knows, maybe suits of powered armour is considered weapons in and of themselves. Wait, no, those are powered by fusion cores.

>>
>>186610437
Both. I'm not unhappy with my current life, but travelling in space and meeting aliens? That beats anything on this rock.
And then there's other people. People I like are fine, but I'm always amazed at random strangers' stupidity where I'm not sure how they're even able to breathe. Complaining about lack of money when they spend it all on eating out and impulsively buying useless shit. Not being able to understand simple pieces of information or doing some mental gymnastics to get an entirely different result than what a small text sign they read said. Not caring about the consequences of their actions, both in short and long term. I often feel dumb, but as a species in general, we are pretty damn stupid. For every friend you have, there's five people who are somehow not classified as idiots and who somehow manage to stay alive.

Deathclaws, in game, have hides with similar DT to standard modern combat armor. Assuming that represents the lore well enough, then Deathclaws are absurdly tough for animals but are not tough enough that hypersonic tungsten-cored projectiles with several times the KE of equivalent modern rounds (and at least slightly greater wound channels on flesh thanks to said energy and speed- though the lack of mass keeps them from causing. 50 BMG tier wounds or anything) would have any trouble piercing them. Even if the turians are just dudes with rifles, they should kill the Deathclaw easily, after maybe taking a couple losses since they're being ambushed.

They don't even need to go inside to kill the Deathclaws. Open the door and get one guy with an ML-77 to fire a couple dozen smart HEAT missiles into the cave. They should seek out all targets in the tiny cave per the codex and kill them. Even with the small diameter of the missiles (~35-40mm it looks like? They're pretty fat) and assuming that HEAT technology hasn't even advanced far since the 2010s, that should kill all the Deathclaws; by now advanced HEAT warheads are supposed to be able to penetrate a depth of RHA equivalent to 700% of its diameter. And ME tech should be better than ours in this respect. Even a 1950s HEAT missile with that diameter would be able to blast through a Deathclaw's hide.

Or use gas grenades. Like Saren did in Revelation. Or destroy the door, back up an extreme distance, and then fire one shot with a Cain. Should kill everything inside. Or camp a few dozen meters away outside with LMGs and GLs pointed at the one tiny entrance and wait for the Deathclaws to come out and eat. Such huge creatures can't go too long without food. If they do literally anything other than bumbling into the cave they should easily wipe out the Deathclaws with few to no losses.

Yeah, it was.

Obviously. Game was a failure so they stopped production.
Every idiot who kept saying that the shuttering/merging of the studio was totally normal just didn't know what they were talking about. Those were the people who were already working on the DLC. That's where the assets come from.

>BioWare Didn't listen to the Fans At All !!! But they did say they would ! They Lied To Us !! :pissedoff: :pissedoff: #SaveTheQuarians

>They are done with updates. Got that. They are done patching the game for single player or in-game content. Understood. However.... They say they have something in store for N7 day... maybe DLC? DLC does not fall under the guise of patches or already there single player in-game story content -it is add-on content.

nothing that exceptional.

have more than 3 different wild animals non every planet.
Maybe spend a little more than a few fucking seconds trying to communicate with the new aliens.
Have the new aliens be little more resistant against a new foreign presence

I mean honestly all they had to do was open a book about Spanish and Portuguese conquistadors and they'd have a better game than what we got.

This was one of my issues with the game. They could have done some cool shit, but instead just copied + pasted the wildlife.
>>
>>186638926
Damn son, that's kinda sad that all your joy comes from schadenfreude, are you doing ok?
>>
>>186638718
Well they had the roekaar, as far as more resistance that could be planned for the future. Right now they have been losing a war of attrition against the kett and opening up a new front would be as catastrophic as when hitler attacked Stalin.
>>
>>186639056
I said it's my only reason to come here, not my only joy in life.
>>
>>186639224
Yeah but just look at the Spanish conquests. They had natives fighting the foreign invaders out of their cities. But the roekaar we're only on 1 planet I think? What the fuck they didn't feel like a resistance at all. More like a gang. And speaking of gangs I hated that planet full of ex-initiative colonists.
>>
>>186639376
I bet you get a lot of joy from schadenfreude regardless of where I comes from
>>
>>186639237
maybe if they added context to the fiends on the other planets
like for example have the fiends come from one planet but on the other planet if you want a large monster to fight make it so that the kett brought them there
here's a idea
>one of the outposts is suffering fiend attacks
>the crew finds this odd as fiends aren't native to the planet
>after searching you find a abandon kett facility that was cloning the things
>after shutting it off your are given a secondary goal that you can complete later where you hunt the remaining fiends on the planet
>>
>>186639762
Well that works have been ok but. Really the problem stems from Bioware is absolutely shit at open world games. I don't know why they ever thought it was a good idea.

I believe they had a light presence on Kadara, but they were mostly based out of harvarl, their ancestral home world witch is mostly vacant and overgrown.

The andromeda initiative and the Portuguese and Castilian conquests have different outlooks on natives you know. Can't really compare the two.

But the fact that everyone agreed on how they should treat the "natives" was just so dumb. Maybe their could have been some people who thought they should just kill them all. But for good sake the fact that the player spent more time fixing shit within the initiative than fighting any "natives" was wondering stupid.

I think it would have been handled in the future. This story was dealing with the kett and getting the angara on the same page.

With the kett settled down and some decisions made in last game we could have seen a rise in tensions with the angara.

Long post ahead for whoever cares.
Was doing Viscount quest in the Courtyard. Brought my good team of Vestal, Houndmaster, Flagellant and Hellion. All level 6 and trinketted out. First room were fine until a stress crit sent Hellion over the edge.
Then the team ate two "skewering riposte" that did 10+ damage and put Hellion on death door immediately, in one turn.
Next turn she dies of bloodloss.
Flagellant get trigerred.

I manage to win that fight but thought that, as the rest of the team was 100% healthy, I could advance a little.
Crimson cursed Flagellant activate eggs.
Ambush happens.
Two mosquito stress crit the houndmaster who gets triggered.
Then an esquire does his Skewering riposte and put Vestal on death door.
Then flagellant just straight up KILL the Vestal and refuse to run away.
Then it was just a matter of watching Houndmaster pass turns until he gets heart attack, and the Flagellant who gets fucked by a powdered wig motherfucker.
I know I should have retreated as soon as Hellion bit the dust, I knew I shouldn't have advanced.

At least it hammered home that I should stop caring about the characters like they are heroes to protected, they're just meat. JUST MEAT.

This pleases me immensely. Andromeda was a mistake in every way, since its conception. Bioware got what it deserved and the drones that ate it all up, instead of seeing it signs at the end of ME3, deserve everything they got. I warned you, faggots, but you didn't listen. Now all you have to blame, is yourselves.

Never spent too much time looking at the plants, from the tropical, glowing rainforests of havarl to the sandy, weeds and small oasis scattered here and there on eleden. They seemed varied enough for me.

As far as the time barrier for sitting outide your vehicle, I never had much trouble because there was always heat lamps for the cold, or shade for the heat. You can even make the world more hospitable if you do the remnant dungeon mitigating the weather effects completely except for the ice planet, if I remember.

You got me on the bullshit outpost clearing where if you leave they re spawn. Reminded me of far cry 2. I just blew through them and didn't look back.

Thanks bioware. No really, thanks. Dragon Age 2 was by far a worse game than Andromeda and a critical failure yet you continued and supported the game with a shit-ton of DLC and even continued the Dragon Age series for arguably the better (to each their own, I found it to be a steaming pile of dog shit, but recognize others liked it). Point is, even after the mishap that was DA2 you still continued the series.

Andromeda, you take another mishap, but instead of learning and recognizing the faults and making Andromeda 2 a better game you just up and ditch the entire universe.

Also your entire "post-launch" support for Andromeda was basically making Scott have more options for dicks up his ass, making a trans character even more transier, and completely redoing a character's entire personality into a gayboy just to appease the two or three hambeasts still interested in the game.

You reap what you sow.
Sincerely go fuck yourself Bioware.

>You're still unaccustomed to her alien features, but you could swear that you saw her face brighten up after you said that.
>"Great!" Her face plates splay wide open in surprise at her overt display of excitement. She probably didn't mean to say that out loud. "I mean... good. That's good."
>She puts a balled fist to her mouth to cover another small cough. You can't help but grin at seeing the cracks in the Detective's otherwise stoic and professional exterior. Perhaps there's more to her than you previously gave credit.
>"Sooo..." She begins again after a long pause. The two of you start walking again. "Can you give me good summary of what you saw in the apartment? I'm interested in hearing your observations and speculations on the case."
>She pauses again, eyeing you with her cat-like eyes. "If that's not too much trouble of course. I understand if you'd rather not."

>"If you say so. I'm ready when you are."

The living room was the only thing odd about the place, the rooms we checked were clean.

The living room had furniture askewed about which would indicate a struggle but by hiding by the self inflicted scratches on her neck, she may be the sole cause to the displaced furniture.

She was found face down in her vomit, upon closer inspection her trachea was found to be detached hanging out of her mouth, along with some serious burns to her torso. If I had to guess she swallowed something which burned her from inside out.
>>
>>186660907
Also rooms checked were kitchen, bedroom, and living room. Didn't check the bathroom on account the detective seemed ready to go.
>>

What could cause immolation like that? Usually larger people are the ones that do it.

>You do your best to explain to the good Detective on what you observed in the apartment, including some of your own speculation based on the evidence.
>You state that the all of the victim's having a certain criminal history points to a mole inside C-SEC. You express your concerns that one of the killers could possibly be an on-duty Officer or one that has access to the Department's databases.
>The Detective nods her head as you speak. "I had suspected the same." She mutters. "Good work."
>You continue, going into detail about how the body experienced serious burns and self-inflicted wounds. You suspect that the victim was either exposed to some sort of chemical or was coerced to swallow a nasty gadget that burned her from the inside out. The displaced furniture and scratch marks around the victim's throat would indicate that she was certainly was in a lot of pain as she died, and the wounds and scattered furniture were a result of that. You doubt that that a struggle between another person occurred, due to the lack of evidence of another party.
>Cyra scratches the tip of her bony chin thoughtfully. "While I agree with your observation that she was alone in the apartment when the attack happened, perhaps you could explain why you think it was a chemical attack? I'm interested to hear your thoughts, especially since I detected no trace of foreign chemicals either within the body or in the room itself. That kind of stuff shows up in toxicology reports, you know."
>You shrug your shoulders. You hadn't gotten that far.
>"Ah well. Thank you for confirming my suspicions so far." She taps away idly at the glowing screen above her arm before speaking up again. "Did you happen to get a closer look at the living room or bathroom by chance?"
>You shake your head again.

>"Well, that's a shame. I happened to notice that some of the potted plants in the vicinity of the victim were quite a degree warmer than room temperature. Can you make sense of that? I can't."
>You shrug again. You didn't have any ideas either.
>Flameless fire. Rapid immolation of the victim without damaging any of the surroundings. No evidence of a third party. Justice for those who it seemed escaped the justice system. It all seemed rather biblical. But you aren't the superstitious type. Not yet.
>"Were here." Pipes up the Detective as the two of you approach a rather nondescript door in a long hallway of doors. Another apartment complex it seemed.
>As the door slid open, any thoughts that you had about the case faded from your mind as you took in the sight before you.
>The apartment was rather small, single story. From what you could tell from the entryway, it was quite similar in layout to the victim's apartment. Perhaps all of these places shared a similar floor plan.
>In the center of the room was a large L-shaped couch, covered in what appeared to be rather elegant fabrics. You're silently glad you chose to spend the night here, if that's the couch you get to sleep on.
>On the opposite wall facing the couch is a large black screen with a short coffee table just below it. A few technical devices seem scattered across the table.
>Past the living room, you can make out a small dining table sitting under a quaint overhead lamp. Off to the left of the table, out of view, you assume is the kitchen.
>On the far wall, behind the dining table, is a glass sliding door with what appears to be a small balcony beyond. You can't make out much due to the darkness outside.
>Behind the couch is a narrow hallway that disappears off to the right. You assume that it leads off to the bedroom and bathroom.
>Overall, the place has a very comfortable, lived-in feel. You like it here already.
>>
>>186664676

>Cyra steps though the doorway, turns, and gives you a small bow. "Welcome to my humble home." She says with an alien grin.
>Your eyes dart around the apartment, and then back to her. "Charming."
>She smiles again. "I like to think so. Now, first things first. Can I get you a drink, perhaps? It's not too late into the evening."
>You raise an eyebrow. An interesting prospect.
>She continues, "Or we could watch something on the vid-screen, if you'd like. Or just talk. It's up to you. I'm open to ideas."
>You stroke your chin thoughtfully.

>Cyra claps her hands together. "It's settled then. If you'll excuse me, I'm going to go change. Feel free to make yourself at home on the couch in the meantime."
>You watch as the Detective disappears into the hallway behind the couch. You hear the faint sound of a door opening and closing.
>You eye the couch again. It certainly looks inviting.
>You make your way over to the side of the couch facing the large screen and plop your body down right in the center.
>You find the couch to be surprisingly soft and cool as your body sinks into the cushions. A rather dangerous combination.
>You can already feel the couch sapping away your will to do anything productive. You suppress a large yawn as the sudden onset of comfyness kick starts your desires for rest. You could get used to this.
>You manage to fight the tendrils sleep long enough for Cyra to return, humming quietly to herself as she walks over to the the side of couch perpendicular to the screen. She's wearing what looks like a rather baggy white shirt with some strange alien inscription written across the front in bold blue lettering. The shirt seems a few sizes to big for her, with the excess cloth hiding most of her alien form from the waist up.
>Her shorts on the other hand, are quite the opposite. They seem to be made of a stretchy, form-fitting black material that extends all the way down to the spines protruding from either side of her knees. They seem to do a very good job at accentuating the alien curves of her lower half. You can't help but stare.

>She seems to take notice of your gaze, and pinches the bottom corners of her shirt between her talons, stretching it outwards. "Ah. Well I apologize for the unprofessional attire, but I'd rather not sleep in that damn uniform."
>You watch her as she makes her way around the couch and stretches herself out on the side of the couch perpendicular to the screen, propping her torso up ever so slightly against the back of the couch as she adjusts herself to face the screen.
>Out of the corner of your eye you look over the smooth and sharp curves of her alien body as she relaxes against the couch. You aren't sure if it's delirium onset by sleep, but they seemed rather... inciting.
>"Comfortable?" She asks in a low tone.
>You manage a very content, "Mm-hmm."
>You hear her chuckle. "Good." The screen flickers to life in front of you, bathing the room in a dim blue glow. You glance over to see Cyra once again looking at an orange screen hovering over her arm.
>"Now is there kind of vid you'd like to watch? I've got quite the library available."
>Hmm. Now this was an important choice.

>You decide to be polite and ask if she has any preferences.
>"Is there anything besides this Fleet and Flotilla that you'd like to watch?"
>She pauses for a moment, deep in thought. You watch as one of her thin talons scrolls slowly through the orange display above her arm.
>"Well, hmm, there's 'Spirits and Steel', another inter-species romance. One of my favorites, actually. The Quarians are a bit more tolerable in this one, if you don't mind that. I certainly wouldn't mind watching it again."
>She pauses again to scroll a little farther through the list. "Ah. Here's another. 'Relay.' It's about two Turian soldiers stationed at an abandoned Mass Relay when a mysterious alien ship appears, whose inhabitants brutally kill the majority of their squad. They have to find a way to alert the Hierarchy in time, and in the meanwhile, fall for each other. A good mix of horror and romance, if you can ignore the campy special effects."
>She gives you a look, her green eyes shining faintly under the low light of the screen. "Both are good in my opinion. And they're romances, which seem to be something you're interested in."
>A tough choice.

1)"Spirits and Steel"
2)"Relay"
3)"Fleet and Flotilla, actually."

>You decide that the horror film sounds like something you could enjoy.
>"Relay sounds like a good one. Lets do that." You say, settling a little further into the couch.
>"Alright." She says, tapping your selection on the orange display. "Now if you'll excuse me again, I'll be right back."
>As Cyra walks out of the room, the large screen in front of you quickly switches to black as the movie begins to play. You look around briefly as you notice the lights in the apartment begin to dim until the entire room is only lit by the low light of the screen.
>Nice. You're glad that enjoying horror films in the dark is a universal thing..
>As the music begins to build in an eerie screeching tone, Cyra returns to the couch with a large woven blanket in hand.
>"Cold?" You ask, with a curious look.
>"What? No. I... ah... don't do the best with scary stuff, that's all." She says with a sheepish tone, pulling the blanket over her lithe body.
>You can't help but grin a little. "Really? You? The grizzled detective?"
>Her face plates clamp together in what seems like a mock pout. "Yeah. Yeah. Laugh it up."
>As the music builds to a crescendo, a large, elongated space station with a circular center flashes onto the screen. The station seems quite worse for wear, it's dull metal exterior contrasting sharply with the darkness of space.
>Out of the corner of your eye, you see Cyra jump slightly at the sharp transition, and then grip the blanket a little tighter.
>Oh boy. There wasn't anything scary on the screen yet, and she was already skittish. This was certainly going to be an interesting experience.
>You feel a little guilty for your choice of the film.
>You have a few options:

1)"Uh, you know... we can watch the other one if you'd like..."
2)"...Are you doing alright?"
3)"Is there room for two under that blanket?"

>but the open world and what you'll be doing in it is tedious
Can you ignore most of that? In Dragon Age inqusition you could pretty much ignore all the stupdi collectibles and fetch quests
>>
>>186683568
Doing side quests raises planet viability, but you can ignore that and rush through the main story and your companions' loyalty missions. The biggest chunk of mandatory side shit is helping Reyes on Kadara for a while.

Also, the planet Elaaden can be skipped entirely iirc, but it features the krogan colony ark and Drack's loyalty, so you might want to check it out before the end.

Yeah, I played Vanguard and it's pretty good. Spammed the Charge ability and bashed enemies with a krogan hammer, or sniped them from cover with the Black Widow sniper. Decent combination.

Forgot to mention that you should activate the terraforming Vaults on each planet during your first visit to avoid backtracking. They are repetitive and you've got to play a sudoku-like game each time, but they raise viability quickly and allow you to set up the outpost colony before moving on.
>>
>>186684804
If you like Vanguards they're still as good as ever, although if you went ham with a Nova-guard in ME3 that particular style isn't as good anymore

But you can do other funky stuff like make invisible cloaking Vanguards now or similar things.

For as much shit as we give Andromeda, you gotta admit a number of these problems have always been present, just not so prevalent. They fucked up the installer so badly that a significant number of people had to manually install ME2 and even track down missing files online. One of my favorite things is, when Harbinger knocks you down just before the citadel beam at the end of 3, you can fire your pistol at any time. Cutscene showing Shepard laying on the ground, pistol firing. Shepard slowly rising to their feet, pistol firing. It's beautiful.

>>
>>186698820
>I always thought it was silly when people made fun of DA:I's animations so much when a lot of them were in ME2
Bioware has been using the same animations since the first Mass effect and Origins
>>
>>186698820
But ME:A has a very persistent problem with pretty much everything. The cover system is worse, half the dialogues sound like they were recorded in a BDSM dungeon, instead of a recording studio, the VAs phoned in upwards of half their lines, the characters are all ugly, the facial animations are worse than the ones in ME1, even, worse AI than previous games, glitches, bugs and texture pop-in on objects that is more prevalent than even Unreal Engine 3's. Also, the story is unengaging and the characters are forgettable, so there's realy not much in redeeming qualities. The Technomancer, which is the epitomy of B-tier games is a much better experience than Andromeda, even if the combat isn't as good.
>>
>>186699927
Yeah I agree with all of that, that's why I said the complaints about core aspects matter more

Just watched the 2017 Ghost in the Shell blu-ray. I actually like the movie. Different enough to be something new, but still similar enough that you know you're watching the "same", so to speak, movie. All the commercial, GUI and hacking holograms looked really awesome, too. Plus all the cool prosthetics, the thermoptic suit looked top notch, the weapons were really awesome. It's really weird when a GitS remake has better gun props than an Alien movie (fuckin' space ARs and AUGs).
Mixing the Puppetmaster and Hideo Kuze was interesting, too.
>that last part when she tears the motor control from the spider tank
A distinct lack of Saito (except literally two camera shots at the very end) was really lame, and some of the cast felt very "diverse". Scarlett's look has a reason in the story, but why are there two black (?) people in the squad, with the woman speaking with an almost Cockney accent? That was weird.

Excuse the possibly shitty .webm.

This is just confusing. DA2 was an objectively worse performing game from a business perspective and got similarly memetically negative reception in the same circles on the Internet that Andromeda did. It also had a bleaker future due to not being part of an established franchise, unlike Andromeda, and EA cited it as a disappointing release while they've only ever spoken of Andromeda's financials in a positive context. And DA2 still got DLC. A major Bioware release not getting any SP expansions is the first time this has happened in a long time. Pretty much since DLC started being a big thing with the start of the seventh generation, every Bioware game has got SP DLC.

I figured that if there was going to be no DLC, it'd be because production was such a dumpster fire. If that Kotaku article was accurate then the team squandered millions of dollars and half their dev time chasing a dragon and overall behaved incompetently. So going by that I'd figure the studio and anything else they'd crank out was DOA before the game was even on shelves. BUT they were still teasing the Quarian Ark DLC in APEX broadcasts a month ago, and Schrier claims that the studio getting downgraded to support came as a surprise to the people there (how?) around the same time that tease was released. So that can't be it. Did something happen between then and now?

I'd be really curious to see what's going on behind the scenes at EA. Hopefully Based Jas gets more insider coverage s*on.
>>
>>186735736

They were lying m8

>>186735736
>it'd be because production was such a dumpster fire. If that Kotaku article was accurate then the team squandered millions of dollars and half their dev time chasing a dragon and overall behaved incompetently.

I honestly think that's what it is. Lots of people, Kotaku included, have been saying that EA was spooked by the bad press and poor reviews but sales were great and the buzz was pretty high. I bet it has nothing to do with Mass Effect and more to do with the fact that Bioware literally does not have a team to make it. I bet the Montreal division fucked up so bad they got fired, reassigned, or demoted.
>>
>>186736451
>They were lying m8
Literally illegal. And EA has never been shy about announcing when sales disappoint. On top of DA2 they did so immediately with Dead Space 3, Crysis 3, Titanfall 2, etc., as is their obligation to their shareholders.
>>
>>186736515
If that was the case, why tease DLC a month after said reassignments and demotions happened? Doesn't make any sense.
>>
>>186735361
You know it, the bad news came and went, know we can all go back to comfy posting
>>
>>186735736
DA2 was critically successful and it's DLC plans were probably advanced enough when the popular tide turned against it that it was more worth it to stay the course.

Also it's an issue of difference circumstances. The issue isn't that Andromeda didn't make money or performed badly, it's that the main issues from a business point of view appear to be the Montreal studio had significant faults at the management level that required outside help to overcome (Mac being put in in charge to get shit done, external teams needing to chip in more than usual), so rather than putting more resources into a team with top-down problems that they tasked those assets to Motive Studios instead.

Late night Jack post!
>>
>>186753003
>"Year-on-year growth was driven by the Mass Effect: Andromeda sales, captured in the quarter and by FIFA,” CFO Blake Jorgensen explains. “Digital net sales were $681 million, a new record for the first quarter, and up $113 million on the year-ago period. The increase reflects strength in live services, together with our mobile business. In addition, Mass Effect: Andromeda was a significant contributor. Full game PC and console downloads generated net sales of $111 million, 32% higher than last year. This was driven by Mass Effect: Andromeda sales captured in the quarter.”
>>
>>186753641
I have no idea what the hell that means. Is that 111 million entirely from Andromeda? Then it sold less than 2 mil. copies.
>>
>>186754195
That's the revenue for the company, not the total cost of games sold. Each $60 copy will have a significant chunk taken by the retailers and never seeing the company's coffers. That's why the Witcher 3 sold 6 million copies in a few months, yet that year CD Projekt reported it earned them only $200 million in revenue. Also:
>Q1

It sold most of its copies in Q1 FY17 (ended March 31), which aren't counted in those numbers, where we actually have somewhat solid figures. $110 million for physical sell-ins (as estimated by a financial analysts), unknown for digital (but greater than ME3's, according to SuperData), and $53 million that was earned there but folded into Q1 FY18 for accounting purposes (according to EA's FY17 Q4 notes for investors). So at least $163 million in March. That's comparable to the $205 million ME3 did in its March release.
>>
>>186741585
Done x100.
>>186743602
Haven't. Looks pretty fun. Might pick it up on a sale.
>>
>>186754568

>>
>>186754917
Well, the same financial analyst who estimated $110 million in physical sell-ins said that correlated to "at least" 2.5 million physical copies in March. Guessing digital sales in terms of number of copies is different because there's no retailer cut there. But SuperData says that ME3 sold 349,000 digital copies in its opening month on Origin alone, and likely more than that number in PS3/Xbox 360 digital copies, and that MEA sold slightly more digital copies in its opening month than ME3 did. So in March alone Andromeda's sales were very likely about 3 million or a bit higher. Past that, who knows. Best I can guess, from the context of EA's mentions of it, it's probably selling about on par with whatever their projections were (which estimated lifetime sales of 5-6 million on the low end).

We can also just roughly compare its March revenue figures to ME3's and assume that's a good indicator of lifetime sales. ME3 had $205 million in revenue in its opening month while MEA had $163+ million, 80%+ of ME3's. ME3 had lifetime sales of 6 million. So MEA's lifetime sales are probably going to be around 5 million.

Pretty sure you can recycle the old armor then get the mod back, unless I'm remembering wrong. I upgraded whenever I got the chance and materials to.

Why let me craft weapons if I can just buy them?
And the upgrade interface is just silly, the game tells you to open it for the first time and you're confronted with a list of all weapons that exist. Why not just let you upgrade the ones that you actually own?
>>
>>186797164
>Why let me craft weapons if I can just buy them?

Why not? Why spend cash if you have metric tonnes of resources laying around?

The second part is a tad strange, you'd think it'd only apply to the ones you have currently equipped or at least have in your inventory.

This.

As much as I'd like to think I would be able to hang out with her, I'd probably try to avoid her, lest she tear me limb from limb because I look at her funny.

Dunno, Ive always had a thing for women like Jack, kinda alt/punk chicks and I'm no bitch, I've been in a couple scuffles in my life.

But idk how I'd react if I went up to Jack and she called me a pussy. id probably just stand there then slowly walk away... Defeated.

I mean, it wouldn't surprise me, I guess. Would fit the edgy background even if the don't explicitly state it.

I'd laugh it off and counter it with saying how people usually call me a dick, instead of a pussy. She'd argue I'm compensating about my tiny pecker, in a more offensive fashion. I'd state how I usually already have a woman in bed, before she throws me that line, at which point she'd either laugh, or think me weird in a "not so sure I want to keep talking to you" way, but she'd be kinda curious too. From then on, it's just bants.

I write. When I write a character, I try to portray him/her in a way that is accurate to their character. I treated this is a draft in writing. You have to do that in order to write believable characters and you work on that in order to have a realistic dialogue between characters, that comes off as human beings. Otherwise, you get Andromeda tier dialogues. Which is bad.
>>
>>186804358
