I wrote a utility which extracts scripts from ADV files but also indicates whenever a page ends.

So now you know whether two lines of dialog are on seperate pages without having to test in game.

As the other anon stated, you can just look up SSD vs HDD in google, but for a quick summary: a SSD (Solid State Drive) cost more per gigabyte, but has no moving parts, so consumes less energy as a standard HDD (Hard Disk Drive) needs a motor to spin the platters inside that house all the data (meaning laptops with SSDs have an increased battery life), is less prone to damage since there's no platter that can get nicked by the reading arm, so if you drop your laptop 2-3 feet off the ground, the hard drive would probably still work (though depending on how it fell, the rest of the laptop might be toast). Since there isn't a spinning platter that needs to be read, the read times are much faster than on a standard HDD and there's no need to defragment the SSDs because file space isn't allocated sequentially. SSDs also have a life expectancy that's maybe 10-20% longer than an HDD on average. Also, I'm building a solution for the overflowing text: a piece of software to make translating and editing 3-4x faster by reading from the ADV how many lines in this page and doing smart line wraps to fit that. Also highlights which page block you are working on, shows jp next to en, etc.

I was looking just now at the ADV code and I don't know how to extract that information. Here's a screenshot. Notice that quotes preceded by !F01:5! are Akuji.

I'm just not sure how to translate !F01:5! into Akuji, if this changes between scenes, or how to get a name out of such a symbol.

Maybe someone on here can figure out that mystery.

If Alicesoft's most important silent deadpans (Kunagi and Sat-chan) can't make it into the roster due to not having enough votes than I doubt Nakadashi or Riot and Trashman will make it in.

Also, I'm pretty sure Shizuka already has a spot somewhere on the roster. Trashman is a very good meme that was formed this year in /hanny/, and it makes a lot sense, given the character representing it, but I feel people would be ashamed of themselves on the inside after voting for Tougou. Still not a bad idea for us to show other generals what thrashy characters we have instead of just the good ones though.
