If you're playing Ao, then it's not there anymore. The fishing spot for the final fish is going to be on the shallow sand bank where they did that small fishing competition in Zero, i'm not sure when it shows up, but Lakelord the III should be fishing on it when it shows up.

Me too and it would make a lot of sense. My money is on them trying to recollect the sept-terrions to do something relating to the ancient Zemurians since one of the reveals is inevitably going to be that Aidios is either an important ancient Zemurian passed down through legend or an Aureole style orbal AI.

My personal pet theory is that the ancient zemurians were space travellers who colonise the planet the games are set on with the Liber ark being one of the ships they used. Theres not a lot of evidence for it but I like it as a theory

Well it's obvious that ouroboros wants the sept-terrions for SOME reason. It's also obvious that the church wants to keep them where they are. The question is what they want them for, and why such a ridiculously convoluted and destructive process is required for accessing them. On one hand, it's easy to believe ouroboros has something good in mind to justify the effort, but on the other hand it's clear that extreme precautions were taken to keep them where they are.

Remember, to just gain ONE of them, they had to plot a coup against the royal family of liberl, activate numerous ancient machines scattered across the country, and force a floating city back into the real world. There Erebonian Sept-terrions require an even more ridiculous effort, they had to put an entirely separate plot in motion in crossbell just to even begin their work in erebonia. The people who hid these things were not fucking around, and it certainly doesn't seem like they ever expected anyone to get them.

Sky makes it pretty clear why its so absurdly difficult to get at least the Aureole, the ancient Zemurian's really didn't want the Liber Ark to be a problem ever again. It also makes it pretty clear that the sept-terrions and artefacts are equally absurdly powerful.

No, thats contrary to whats shown in the game, the church is shown to lock away powerful artefacts in the giant neutralisation chambers, they just take the sensible path of wanting to preserve the ancient safeguards to stop them rather than putting them in chambers vulnerable to attack. I always got Top Men vibes off the church's attitude to artefacts and the sept-terrions, wanting to keep them locked away safely instead of risking horrendous accidents like the North Ambria incident rather than some evil scheme.
