Doesn't work with crates or 500 steel packs but if you had 16 packs that didn't cost steel you also didn't really lose anything.
There is that yellow light that wanders from item to item on weapon and armor packs. When you buy the pack, the items get revealed from left to right. You have to confirm the purchase so that the yellow light is on the piece you want (shoulder piece for example) the moment the piece is revealed.

Man this is a really fun game, but I guess I'll just have to call it quits now.
Almost every match I'm just getting outplayed/outskilled, even if I do have decent team mates I can't 1v1.

I enjoyed the 3PS Action thing this game had going for it, but both new DLC heroes pretty much confirm that the future of this game is in mix-ups and mind-games. I've always sucked at fighter because of piss-poor reactions. Even after 700+ hours I haven't really improved much from where I started, so I'm sorry my fellow Knights and Wardens, I won't be here to share the victory at end of this season.

Technically yeah. I did alot of vs AI matches in early days and now my overall K/D and win ratio is really high. So I think matchmaking thinks I'm some uber god player and every match I'm getting shitstomped or win due to sheer luck. Duel or Dominion.
The new influx of players made me realize how shit I actually am, considering I can't handle myself in ganks at all. 2 People just spamming lights could kill me. I can't block most 500ms lights even after 700 hours of play. I do know theoretic, max punishes, how to play but I just lack that reaction time and mind games no matter how much I practiced and played.

Still, I feel I did my part in S1 and 2 by deploying like 300-500k War Assets per round manually and according to that knight discord war plans.

After any chain, direction back heavy. Also on any direction deflect, press heavy to to skewer(impale). Holding it down applies bleed, too long and you lose the ability to throw your enemy. Gladiator is more annoying than he is broken.

You gotta realize a lot of his stuff is blockable, it just doesn't feel like it. Heavy after the shield bash (not zone attack, his dodge+shield) is blockable/parryable. His skewer is parryable. His toe stab is dodgable and 100% punishable by a guard break.

You just gotta keep a level head when playing against him because his really fast moves and attacks can really annoy you and wear you down, but if you just start parrying his shit he dies really fast because he is tied for second lowest HP in the game.

Who would like if deflect returned to the CTT-1 method?
For those who don't know, in that build deflects were performed by changing guard to the attacked side just as the hit was about to connect, a "perfect guard" kind of mechanic.
In that build reflex guard made sense because you were trading guard stability for an active defense.
Now that they changed it to dashing, reflex guard is just straight worse than regular.

I think they should go back to just input guard deflects for assassins and implement the parry changes from the recent PTS-2 so deflect isn't just a worse parry (in most cases), or just remove reflex guard as a mechanic.

Anon, you gotta remember that in this game unless something is a direct combo, nothing is guaranteed. Gladiator has no combos. He isn't like Centurion who can do a wall splat into heavy into punch into zone. He can basically just do a dodge attack and that is it. Toe stab is fast enough that it's hard to dodge and does damage. It "resets it to neutral" but it's the only way to get more damage in.

Also, Gladiator cannot kill with his zone attack if they're at critical HP, so you gotta do zone attack and toe stab is perfect for finishing them off.

All of Glad and Cent's punches give a free GB on dodge. Glad's toepoke also gives a free GB on dodge. Now you just need to parry the parriable unblockables: they're easy as shit because they're all telegraphed as fuck.

The only thing that's a little hard to punish is Legion Kick, because he can follow it up with a heavy to stuff a GB attempt. Treat it like you would Nobushi's kick.

I think their mediocre damage is a fair enough trade as it is, and all characters need feints to be fun and play smart.
Maybe making it so that if they are parried you get your light parry confirms (only on the 600ms variety) since there are many 600ms light attacks.
Also if Conq is the only other charcater to have heavies as weak as the 600ms heavies, his heavies should be 600ms too, discuss.

It's not about losing to them, it's about them straight up cheating. I can beat level 3 bots every time, but it relies way more on just cheesing them with light attacks.

You can just sit there and interrupt every heavy they do with a light and win without even trying to block. It's just stupid that if you want to practice actual combos or punishes it doesn't work because bots seem to break out of stuff faster than normal.
