This might be a stupid question, but how exactly does Respawn balance guns by range? Seeing as no one has even tried to calculate what exactly 'medium range' is in metric or imperial, I'm assuming it's just one set unit for each range (close/medium/long) and Respawn tries to balance the guns keeping that in mind. If that's the case I think it might explain why they're so piss-poor at balancing.

I remember a post about an idea for a Hunter Reaper upgrade instead of calling in a Titan, it drops off a modded Reaper who hunts down enemy Titans or defends a position. Imagine one of those with three leaps and a power fist for disabling Titans when it hits you.

Does anyone else remember/use the reload cancel? You can demolish titans in FD with the SMR using it.

One of the things that makes the series endearing is how the developers don't seem to have fooled themselves into thinking any of this is something that could happen and it overall seems kind of self aware at how ridiculous it is

Not exactly looting involved, but I think narrative elements attached to a multiplayer mode would be cool. Obviously you can still jump right in to basic modes like attrition, ctf, etc. This would be separate. It would be like if they took bounty hunt and frontier defense and smashed them together with halo 4's Spartan ops.
Sort of like 20 minute pvp campaign missions.
Like what if you had to defend the harvester from players? Or you're fighting in a dynamic or linear environment where you need to get from point A to B as you fight rather than staying in a static 'arena'.
It would be fluffed out as you and your squad of freelancers, jetting around the frontier doing jobs for whoever pays.
Tons of opportunities for varied environments on different planets.

Full customization for pilots and titans.

Unfortunately nobody else would ever play this, so it will never be made.

You get everything you -need- right at the get-go (about half of the weapons are available at the start), and the levelling is very well paced to the point of you never feeling like anything is impossible to attain, and if you -really- want a certain weapons then you can just buy them with the credits you gain from levelling up.

Grenadier weapons are only really effective against slow players due to not being hitscan and largely relying on splash damage. The EPG is sort of the exception due to it having absolutely no bullet drop or damage dropoff, but you still need to accommodate for both how you and the enemy are moving in order to successfully hit.

Compared to the majority of hitscan weapons that can kill a player by just looking in their general direction and holding down the trigger, they're not overpowered at all

The fact of the matter is that Grapple is popular around here because it provides the most raw mobility of any tactical, in a game that already prides itself on player mobility of all things (and Titans).

what happens is, the world model gets desynced from the hitbox. If you shoot at the pilot you see, the hitbox might not be there. That makes it hard to hit from the side, but it's still easy to hit from the front or back. And it doesn't always happen. I've been shot out of the sky at full speed so many times! It's mostly a meme. The famous demonstration video is basically the worst case scenario. Don't forget that hitreg just breaks randomly too. Even on targets that are standing still.

If the people who drive Titans are called pilots, what do you call the people who fly the ships?

Do you ever think that if they all got stranded on a planet, and somebody asked "Alright, which one of you is a pilot", they'd raise their hand and then disappoint everyone when it's revealed they can't wallrun?

BH is too easy desu. If you perform well in the first wave it's unlikely the enemy will recover. The key to winning BH is literally PTFO. For titans I'd recommend one with an AOE weapon (scorch, monarch, tone, maybe NS). When your titan dies and the next or current wave is a titan one rodeo 3 times to get a new titan.
If you've got a tonne of cash don't go hunting other players. Bank that shit nigga then go hunt other players.
If you play the objective (killing the retarded AI) pilot kills will come naturally.
It's retardedly easy to get $2k+ in cash and not even die once. BH is the easiest mode and also one of the least fun modes just because of how formulaic each match is.

Titanfall 3 will eventually release, it's "established" mow as a multiplat shooter that does sell. It's a brand that's got a fanbase and Respawn has proven that they listen to it to some degree. They'll want this to be the next CoD, just with 2-3 year cycles instead of yearly.

4 MONTHS BEEN SINCE PLAYED TITANFALL 2.
tired every methd in forums still cant connect to lobby, fucking game was playable form in chirstmas but after may this year cant connect to the multiplayer at all tried every data centers the game offer still no luck! tried to disable adapters and follow every guide online still no luck,Been 3 months already im still locked form multiplayers i even contact my ISP asked about my connection they said its seems fine.
Respawn Entertainment pls fix!

try deleting all entries in Port Forwarding in your router/modem. When I played BF4 it would always crash unless I cleared all the Port Forwarding entries.

They aren't ranked, no. It's hard to find a game mode that isn't attrition in general.
Hardpoint is one of my least favorite gamemodes to be honest. I feel it doesn't suit the game at all.

Are they adding anymore DLC?

It works if you have a team that plays the objective.

Having 2 sides actively pursuing the hard points and constantly 1-uping each other is a blast because it brings out the competitive sides of each team instead of just camping/hunting for kills. Its CoD's domination under a different name, but even so I had an absolute blast during the Beta playing it with a group who were doing their best to win.

running from point to point, foiling and getting foiled while taking points, being neck and neck in points with only 1 point constantly switching between sides.

I enjoy it, wish more people did.

those dropships used to have massive shields instead of massive health, and the reasoning for them being so tough was because they were extract vehicles, they had no weapons and no real armor, just enough fuel to get them into orbit and any many shield generators as possible loaded onto them to protect the precious cargo.

But all those shield generators would weigh them down.

well actually the lore says that it's the fuckton of protection that limits their jumps. They have a full tank, but the sheer amount of plating and shields makes it so that fuel only lasts long enough to jump in, extract survivors, and get the fuck out
