In Line 21 you forgot to capitalize "Will", but that's not at all a glaring mistake.

It's less cartoonish than the """official""" books, and has better written fight scenes. I got Man of Steel vibes from this with all that wanton destruction and disregard for innocent life, it was great. Loved the cliffhanger, too.

The drama at the end feels weird, but I'll stick with it.

Different anon, but I think that's one of the key differences between Weaver and Rugrats' AUs. The former has a bunch of characters but each one is strongly defined by one or two traits while the latter has only a few characters that are more in depth individually.
It's like the difference between Digimon Adventure 2 and Digimon Tamers.
It's not something I could see happening due to logistical reasons, but if something like that ever happened I imagine that it would probably be a short and intense series like Cowboy Bebop.
Still, it's fun to think about.

If this hypothetical Cellmates would work like Roommates did then it would be a collaboration between him and a writefag. In that scenario I'd be fine with whatever Rugrats decided in regards to the story. He's good at crafting a story and creating interesting characters, and his style of storytelling works well across multiple genres. On top of that he builds things in a sort of a slow burn, which would be a good fit for something long.

tl;dr I'd be happy with whatever Rugrats decides because I trust him to do a good job with it.

I don't say this to whiteknight Weaver or throw shade at Rugrats but I've been following Rugrats' stuff since day one and I don't see any hint of this "deepest loar" that you're referring to. The only one I'll give you there is Freddy since he hasn't done much with him on his own, but for the rest of them there's comics that hint that there's more to their personalities than those surface traits.
Chica's not all that normal; she's depressed due to seeing generations of children grow up and die, her frustration with never being able to leave the restaurant, had an abusive father that may have influenced her own violent outrages, and probably tries to lose herself in continuously baking.
Bonnie is annoying, but it's because she acts out for attention perhaps out of a deep fear of being alone. She also copes by watching old cartoons and her immaturity may be to avoid facing up to how old they all are or the body count they've all racked up.
Foxy is a drunk because he's bored and disaffected by his immortality aas well as harboring a deep guilt over all the people he and the crew have killed over the centuries. His friendship with Mike may be that he's looking for absolution or that killing him and bringing him back will fix it.
Mike himself was born with a future brain disease and was only hired as cannon fodder, he's grouchy and cynical due to living in a crappy future where robots have taken all the jobs, his parents are institutionalized, and he knows that his brain is slowly decaying as he gets older.

It's not THE deepest lore, but it's still a lot of effort that in my opinion resulted in something pretty solid.

I'll put my two cents that Freddy's implied to have still not fully recovered from the trauma of his death and may have a phobia of knives, while also dealing with the task of being a child that has to make the types of calls adults make. I always figure Freddy walks a tightrope of having to let the others be entertained enough not to attempt suicide and keeping the place running.

I've had a lot of fun in this general over the years. Playing the games, having discussions, consuming OC, and eventually even making my own. It's one of the first places online I check when I wake up, and it's one of the last I check when I go to sleep. No matter how bad things can get here, these threads are a place that I love to hang out in. Not that guy, but from what I've seen of the game Bendy's has a lot of the same flaws that FNAF fangames have, except they're more egregious since it's supposed to be doing it's own thing.

The fact that there's no cartoon violence in this game speaks for itself. These cartoon characters being OOGA BOOGA screaming monsters is a horrible misuse of the concept, and dare I say, creatively bankrupt. The dev clearly wants to get the same audience that's drawn to FNAF and DHMIS. Underaged kids who love cute things that are actually edgy underneath, with a "deep lore" to accompany it. The episodic release format, meaning little work required, mirrors that of FNAF's rapid-fire development time back in 2014 and 2015.

Rugrats' AU takes place hundreds of years into the future, and the way the animatronics act is a direct result of the ennui of an immortal existence having lasted that long. Nah, Rugrat's AU kinda veered completely off the official game canon's rails when the Skin Man was introduced back in either late 2014 or early 2015.

The canon Mike Schmidt is either still a blank slate like he was in FNAF 1, or according to some fan theories with the release of Sister Location's custom night, Mike may now be the Purple Guy's son who was hollowed out by his sister-turned-robot-spaghetti-monster into a sentient skin suit, who then went on to find his father, got attacked by the animatronics by mistake and springtrap'd instead of the OG purple guy (like we thought when FNAF 3 came out) but somehow survived again and is now still out there looking for him.

It's worth noting that Springtrap gushes blood after being Springtrapped, while Michael had gotten his organs removed. It's also worth noting that Scott introduced the idea of a Springsuit that releases fake blood when it's "sprung" in The Twisted Ones, because he's creatively bankrupt.

It's also worth noting that whoever was locked inside Springtrap was in there for six times the amount of time the children were, and yet he was never confirmed to kill anybody. If it's Michael who gets retconned into the suit, it paints the kids in an even worse light.
