You go to a magic school and all your classmates are cute villagers like the ones in the picture. There's a lot less than in AC but they're more unique to make up for it. If you become good enough friends they'll ask you out. You can even take them on dates.

You can fish, catch bugs, decorate your dorm, and do pretty much anything you can do in Animal Crossing. Only the DS version came out in english unfortunately. You should try it out while you're waiting for the next Animal Crossing game to come out.

You can grab extra fruit from the islands, when you unlock them. A lot of this game is time-gated unfortunately.

Go do some tour like the flower collecting one when you do, because while you're there you can shake trees and take the stuff home.

Eventually, you'll be able to visit the island by taking the boat at the dock in your town. There, you can go on various tours to play minigames. The main objective of these minigames is to collect coins to use in the island's gift shop, but you can also keep any flowers or fruit collected on the tours, as well.

Also, some villagers may give you fruit as a reward for doing them favors. And if you send an orange to your villagers in the mail, you may get another piece of fruit in return.

My sister and I used to play daily, city folk, just because it was on the Wii and we had it set up in the living room. Sister's friend broke the wii because she was one of those retards that would pull on controllers when playing games.

Probably when I was playing the original and my two best friends were Tank and Tad. I was pretty young (around 11 when the game came out) so I would go to school and draw pictures of a rhino and a frog with my horned villager guy.

Also, getting upset at my town. No matter what I try to do ,there's always a fucking rock in the way.
It made a big gap in the wall of my big garden project, it made me relocate a path that is now weird looking.

I want to move a bridge but I don't know if it's the original that won't count as a PWP, because my only screenshots from launch day don't include a bridge in them.

In the save editor there's "cedar (festival lights)" listed under the more trees section. I don't think cherry blossom trees are listed in the save editor though and you'd probably have to time travel to april, save and export, then copy/paste those trees.

That being said, I'm pretty sure even if you place the festival trees they just revert back to normal at the start of a new day. They're one of those things that are like hard coded or whatever, like the grass.

So many path patterns only look good in screenshot. The way the game displays them in motion or even just further down range looks garbage in most cases.

I've tried out a good 10 but the pattern I had for 2 straight years is still my favorite. If it wasn't so time consuming to switch characters, go to the shop, tediously scan 8-10 new ones and then check if they look good.. I'd keep going.

On that note, how do these people in the path blogs deal with events? I could never decorate my whole plaza more than once because after every holiday you've got a massive hole in it from the props.

The props from the events only leave a couple spots, desu after you've put paths around your entire town dropping a few down at the plaza takes barely any time. It's easy to incorporate it into general daily routine. I know some people also don't fill in those spots unless they're uploading a dream address or inviting people over.

You literally get rewarded for it now. Nook will buy your town and give a starting sum of money for your next game.

Is anyone here own an old ds and AC Wild World and have experience with AltWFC or Wiimfi? Does it works correctly with WW?

I've been missing out with the ds games since I didn't own the handheld before and now I'm playing wild world with a second hand ds a friend gave me while simultaneously saving up for a 3ds but for now it might take a while before owning one.

AltWFC and Wiimfi is basically people's effort to rebuild WFC and I know some games works there like Mario Kart but I'm not really sure if ACWW works. There are some hurdles however. You need either a flashcart or action replay to patch out the games and finding people to play with is hard since everyone owns a 3ds nowadays.

It's been a few years since I stopped visiting but I need your help.

I visited my town today after few years and I remembered why I stopped playing. My town is a mess. I have most of the villagers I've always wanted (Francine, Kabuki, Kody, Skye) but the houses (including mine) are all on the wrong spots and my whole town looks like junkyard + forest + houses.

I played for about 400 hours. Should I reset or just do a huge makeover?

If I reset, can I somehow keep my stuff or money?

Nah. Updating your firmware doesn't revert any changes you've made with hacking, it just prevents you from hacking in the future. I do my hacking on an un-updated old 3DS but play on a 11.5 new 3DSXL with no issues.
