>What is this?
It's Minecraft with magic. Seriously. That's it. You craft items, build bases, and try to protect yourself from the guy that just unlocked the Telekinesis spell for the first time and wants to toss your house into a cliff side.

Another shitty early access survival game?
>>185016723
It is pretty bare-bones at the moment. All you can really do is build bases, craft/loot gear, and PvP.
But, it's not a survival game. There's no hunger or thirst mechanics. The only thing you have to manage is your mana bar, which you refill with potions or just by letting it slowly regenerate.
The biggest thing is mount/pet taming.
>Want to ride a bear?
Go up to a bear, tame it, and then throw a saddle on it.
>Want a pet direwolf?
Find a direwolf, tame it, and set it to follow/defend you.
>Want to ride a dragon?
Tame it, throw a saddle on it, and use scrolls to keep it loyal to you.
There's also no set limit to how many pets you can have following you at once, so you can actually become a necromancer by taming a few undead and send them to attack things.
Overall, it's enjoyable. I actually made this general to see if we could get a 4chan group going.

How's the single player?
>>185025320
There isn't any.
The only thing that gets you single player is starting up your own custom game and setting max players to 1.

Oh. Then how about the pve?

It's one big giant power fantasy. You can do anything from just straight blowing shit up to taming a dragon to blow shit up for you.
Melee combat is kind of "Meh," though.

It's Skyrim, but without a cooldown on shouts.
Seriously, not joking.
At the start, you'll have a spell that is essentially the fire-breath shout from skyrim that you can cast as long as you have the mana for it. It can be cast mid-swing of any melee weapon.
The next spell you unlock is a damage boost buff.
The next spell you unlock is just a stronger bash attack.
All the spells can be seen in this video, and the melee spells are the least interesting.

>Wand spells are shadow/vampiric/necromancer magic
FUK'N SOLD

If my understanding is correct, each weapon type (Staff, Wand, Melee, and Gauntlet) corresponds to a diffrent "Class."
Basically, if you're using a staff, you're going to play like a traditional mage type class, but if you're using a wand, you're going to play more like a rogue with dark magic abilities.
I can't figure out what gauntlets play the most like. Almost all of the gauntlet spells are laser-beam like.
I should also mention that this is the only game that I know of that has you ride brooms to fly. Costs a shit ton of mana to stay flying, though. You're almost always going to need mana potions on even short trips.
