How does it make sense than you can buffer auto attacks while stunned only while using a self ccing ability? This leads to stuff such as Renekton using W on a target, which stuns himself as well as the enemy, getting hit by a cc, then still auto attacking an enemy which may land a lethal blow (I saw this particular case where Quas was able to auto despite being cocooned and killing the Elise). Getting cocooned should have immediately paused the queue of commands that was sent (allowing the Renekton to override them while he was stunned, but not casting them until the cc was up, so he could then change his next action to dash out if he was cc'd - but that's not really the important part) instead of finishing it.

Buffering also occurs in movement abilities, the most prolific one being Ezreal's Arcane Shift (I'm sure most of you seen the old qtpie arcane shifting out of Vi ult in pro play and seeing his reaction on camera) and this is due to backswing of cast animations being unstoppable - as part of the engine. This is why Lux ult and a lot of other ability still goes through while cc'd. This is one of the reasons that makes Tristana such a problem, is that not only does she have excellent range, steroid and self peel, but she can also abuse this engine flaw after you close the 669 range and get through her tank line just to have her jump away while she is cc'd. Literally jumping immediately as she gets knocked up from rupture completely negating the whole spell in the first place.

This mechanic has existed for ages and it won't go away or riot will have to rebalance all the CC, CC reductions and CC invulnerabilities in the game. You probably hate it because you can't do it and because you can't do it in your retard mind nobody else should be allowed to.

Movement spells are just self-displacement abilities and displacements override eachother. As I already said this is an intended game mechanic. This is how the game designers wanted it to be and it is not because of engine limitations. There used to be an unintended mechanic linked to it which would allow you to finish casting a spell and then autoattack on top of that all while stunned/airborne and it was removed because examples of people like boxbox literally ignoring most CC as riven started popping up. There was also a bug which allowed you to use spells while in the middle of a CC chain (even if that chain was almost perfect), mashing the keyboard in the moment while one CC overrides another was how you made this occur. That was also fixed. These two might have been caused by the engine but more likley they were just programmer oversights.
Displacements overriding displacements is an intended game mechanic. The only other way this could be solved is having displacements not override eachother which would make it so that any displacement CC you use on an already displaced target would do nothing and dashes/blinks would be completely uninterruptible.
