Doomfist actual release only had an activity spike for 90 mins then the playerbase went back to normal.
This is highly unusual.

Korean Gametrics showed that OW has almost lost 50% of it's active playerbase since Jan.
From 25% to 16% reign vs Other games in Korea.

Then you have the fact that OW no longer gets exposure from articles. They dont advertise the game anymore so it's just gonna go downhill. Most of the articles written about Overwatch today is about OW League drama or some Hero release every 4 months.

Playoverwatch.com (The main site for logging in or visiting forums) has 200-400k unique visitors a month.

Okay, It's teach me! corner time, because apparently I still have no idea what I'm doing.

I found out that I'm pretty useful as D.va so I finally decided to try them rank games.
But I met some people that POLITELY INSISTED that D.va needs to be constantly healed and I'm a huge faggot for flying around like a mosquito, DM'ing teammates that went out too far and potshotting people from high places. My role is supposedly in the team centre, unloading shotguns and eating ults, while getting constant heals.

And I'm fucking confused, because whatever I'm doing It clearly works. I even got into gold!

D.Va is meant to chase, but she also needs to be able to do her tanking role, this is why her mobility is so simple and effective, it allows her to chase/capitalize and then get back to her team ASAP.

You're doing it wrong as D.Va if you're constantly away from the team, but you're also not making the most of her if you just play her like Reinhardt.

The degree to which you want to be flying around with her will vary based on your team composition as well (namely how constantly you can be healed and what other tanks your team may have).

20mb is very small for a video, Anon. And the only settings in OWs highlight system that would change the filesize of the export is resolution and frame rate. The others you can probably put as high as you want to just make the render quality of the game good for when it's recording.

If you want to post stuff here, you want to take the video file you got from the game and convert it to non-sound webm of filesize less than 3MB. The easiest way to do this is use Webm Converter/Webm for Retards, which will let you set a max filesize and preferred resolution.

It's a support defensive ultimate, much like Zenyattas trans and lucios barrier, except while those two also deny value from enemy ultimates - they have definitive counters, stopping them from doing so.
You can nade people who are inside trans to stop them from getting healed, and you can EMP lucio barriers away(Or just shoot through them, they are not as tough against, say, Nano Visor)
Res doesn't have a definitive counter, besides just "Not using ultimates", in which case you probably can't win a point, simply because enemies aren't as restricted.
Like, what the actual fuck. Not only does she literally steal your ultimates used in a fight - she also can get that ability faster than ANYONE else in the game.
How is that good gamedesign? Who though this was a good idea?

To get a good res, mercy must hide, just abandoning her job as a main healer.

Roadhogs hook combo was complained about because it allowed for very little self-defense apart from staying out of range, and while yes, he was sort of balanced in high elo - all the lower rating were shitstomped by him.
Doomfist literally lets you shoot at him for good one to two seconds, before commiting to a charge.

A spy omnic. He's working with current Overwatch (Winston, Tracer, Genji etc.) and giving them info on what the god AIs and other major players on the omnic side of the Omnic Crisis are doing or planning.

An aura based hero like Lucio, but based on turrets rather than the characters position. Heavily focused on recon.

The auras would have a set amount of healing (maybe 10 per second) AND give wallhacks (but also inform people if they're visible due to this with a DETECTED warning). Range of about 15m (so a little more than current Lucio). The character can place up to 4 of them, and auras can stack.

The turrets themselves could be placed on walls and ceilings like Sym turrets, and would look something like security cameras. The auras would go through walls, meaning that once you notice the enemy team has the effect somewhere, you know the turret is in that general vicinity and have to find it.

Their primary weapon would be a small silenced pistol. 16 rounds per reload, rapid fired like Mercy/D.Va gun, and deals 20 damage per shot or 60 for headshots.

Secondary ability would be a gas grenade that would give a damage over time effect to any enemy it hits. They take 10 damage a second for 10 seconds AND will transfer this effect to enemy allies they get within 5 metres of.

Ultimate would be boosting all turrets to 2.5x healing and having two damaging enemy+healing ally boosted aura turrets appear on the character.

He still has to get in, as a melee character in an FPS, and if he dives in with Rising Upper > Seismic, he has two abilities on cooldown and has to make something happen because he's got no escape. I think he's perfectly balanced, he's strong but not too strong, he has clear disadvantages and a good amount of counters.

I don't think there is any one character in this game, bar Mercy, who needs anything drastic done to them. 90% of the problems in OW are due to the game's system.
