I'm a new player level 7 and ever single match I've played either has the enemy team with an efficiency of 30+ while my team is scattered all over the place and the matches I do win tend to have one player on our team with all efficiency.

Yes, I'm bad. But the matchmaking in this game is one of the worst I've seen and I don't know how to fucking play the game so I go into the matches and feel focused on when it turns into a game of me being the only one attacking the guardian or the only one defending a point. I've played so many moba's but this one kicks my ass. I love everything about the game, but I need to be matched with players as stupid as me.

I've played as Tyto, Tripp, HK-206, and now I'm playing as Mozu.
Mozu's really fun and I understand the abilities, but I tend to have difficulties with any and all assassin characters. Last matched I played I was focused by Tyto and had no idea what to do. You can play her for support or damage. I like to go with damage, its the most fun and I tend to do well with it. You want to be fighting with her ghost dad (Cador) most of the time since you get damage bonuses for hitting targets that they other hit. So summon Cador, fight with someone, maybe toss in a Q, keep attacking as they run, and if they're low enough , just let Cador hunt them down (he's relentless).

I wanna like this game but it feels really unpolished. It needs better matchmaking, preselected loadouts you can alter in game and better core balance. Every fight is a clusterfuck of chaos that drains all your resources at once plus its hard to navigate to the different points because the maps are so big and complex. The whole thing feels like half a game especially with only three maps.

for RMB's second talent after steals-movement-speed should I grab steals-health or cripples debuffed enemies?
I usually crab the cripple but it sometimes feels redundant with...
E. I get the one where it deals damage and curse after a brief delay, and then the one that makes it cripple when that happens. surely I'm not going to get any use out of rmb's cripple if I'm using it to set up armor break for E's cripple anyway? send help.

Otherwise I do the lifestealing LMB talents, the regeneration on kill / out of combat defensive talents, rmb cooldown / clash reset trait, and launches / weakness on Q.

Does the weakness from LMB count as a debuff for the rmb cripple?

A vast majority of people you'll run into online are around the middle of this range.
Unfortunately as with most games like this, average means you're probably still fucking up a good bit, just not as gloriously badly as truly shit players do.
There's still room for improvement so if you can identify where your weaknesses are, maybe someone here can help you figure out how you can turn it around.

People in this range generally have a solid game plan figured out on most maps and know about how they need to handle fights against different characters.
Unless you catch this person in an off-game for them, you probably won't find much to complain about.

Congratulations, the leaderboards recognize your existence and you might even be top 500.
These people are understandably rare to see, especially if you aren't near their MMR.
If they do show up, they're pretty much going to dominate.
Even if they don't end up managing to carry their team and lose, they might still wind up with a better score than anyone on the other team.

Most likely a smurf, MMR at this range can really only be justified by gameplay so don't be too surprised if you see someone only managing to not be dead weight this high, they probably haven't even hit account rank 20 yet.

MMR is a fun metric to give you a sense of personal progression, but don't take it too seriously.
There's no reason to be beating yourself up over a stat that jumps around more than Ramsey when you're starting out.
Don't be afraid to group with people below your MMR either, I've seen great 5500 players and garbage 6500 ones.

I've heard the mmr system is completly fucked and is mostly placebo

If you stomp during your first matches you'll climb super fast, if you fail during the first levels you'll be stuck forever in low mmr, because the system doesn't calculate the points properly, so it's impossible to jump from 3000-7000, the matchmaking will butt fuck you and pair you up in a way that you don't earn enough points to rank better, or if it does it won't be calculated appropriately.

He's pretty good if you can aim. The damage is on the low side but it's enough to harass and secure kills with his high mobility and roots. Decent aoe heal w/ cleanse or jump pad with the pool and a good counter for healers since he can pretty much poison all day. Like you said he's pretty much unkillable with good positioning and map awareness. Takes a while to get used to playing and maximize all his tools.
