In the Persona 3 Club Book, in a Q&A section it is stated that Nyx is in fact a living being outside reality the size of a celestial body known as "the Star Eater", that drifted space in a dormant state. Eventually, this being collided with the Earth, and ended up entering Earth's orbit becoming its moon, but leaving its psyche on the surface. This "wave-like psyche" stood a contradiction to the already existing life on earth, which was still at a very primitive state. In order to resist this contradiction, the life forms in Earth had a period of evolution and developed a collective subconsciousness in which the life forms locked away the psyche of Nyx by suppressing its psyche with their own thoughts. Nyx's physical body entered a healing process after the colliding with the Earth from within Earth's moon. By the time Persona 3 takes place, that process was just about done. The Fall is the process in which Nyx's psyche re-enters its physical body, giving Nyx back its original form, meaning a paradox for life on earth, and thus the end of the world.

The Playstation 2 was replaced by the Playstation 3 in 2006. It was a high selling console and got replaced in 6 years. 2019 would put the PS4 around the same average time for a console to be replaced. No one wanted last generation to last as long as it did, remember the jokes about PS3 and 360 graphics as early as 2009/2010? Especially with PS4 and Xbox One having tablet processors not meant for long-term future proofing. Just like the PS4 held back Persona 5, I expect PS5 to hold back Persona 6 for a port and extra polishing. Bank on 2020 for Persona 6, they'll have Persona 5 spinoffs till then.

The anime will be worth it for more characterization of Joker alone. P5 is already to be applauded for doing much more to make the MC feel like a real personality, but the full fleshing-out brought by an anime will be much appreciated.

Yu was comedy gold in the P4 animation, and the truly emotional scenes became much more powerful when they hit him just as hard as everyone else in the group. I expect the same will hold true for P5 in animated form, regardless of how QUALITY the animation may be. P4's anime was a well-written adaptation.

I think my characters were a bit underleveled, even though I'm playing on Normal, as I'm not going to hit their final skills before the end of the game at this rate.
