How do I practice heroes like Genji and Tracer? Get in quick play and hope I have a decent lineup or play them in comp and hope I don't throw?

>8 meters away that damage cap is 100 damage (assuming all pellets are hitting on a large enough hitbox
>This falloff carries over to his alt-fire, meaning that outside of point from the explosion, it will never more than 149 damage

Its a real fucking shame when you can be 10 meters from a sombra, and your shots only do 40 damage because of falloff and the horrible spread missing most of the shot on small hitboxes.

Nerfing Hog's damage hits him 3-fold more than anyone else, even with the increase fire rate. He can't get a reliable pick on any hero except tracer point blank (and you have to press your gun against her womb), he can't probably deal enough damage to get picks on even defenseless tanks, and his damage is curbstompped by anyone with armor.

You can't even kill a rein but just putting your gun against his back and rapid firing because the armor brings that maximum damage cap down to 75! So all 5 shots would only do 475 damage. And then on top Hog's now a healing post for reapers, who heals 50HP a second firing against him, and can't even put a dent into Orisa with fortify (damage cap is only 37 per shot)

So given that Hog only does 10 more damage per shot as reaper, has a much higher falloff and spread, a slower fire rate, a long reload time, and a smaller clip size, I have to ask how Blizzard thought that this was a nerf and not a funeral.

They literally make Reaper better in every way and made roadhog lose 1v1's with Tracers, sombras, and Symmetra's because of his new weakness. And made him unable to probably even put dents in tanks anymore.

When playing Winston try reloading when you're using Jump Pack. If you're dueling someone aim up and jump, try to land on them and inmediatly melee them, that should give you around 70 free damage.

Also don't forget you can't kill someone being healed by a Mercy since her heals per second are equal to your Tesla Canon's dps.

If that's true then how come not a single chess professional has a 50% winrate. There is no league where the players have an even winrate, it doesn't happen because there is no such thing in this world as an equal skill match up. It doesn't happen in sports either. It is purely a videogame construct and it functions a bit the same way that drugs do actually, to keep you addicted to playing.
Basically, the formula is to entice a player with win streaks, and we know they do this because one of the devs even said in the forums that the reason placement matches place you lower than your previous season is so that they can inflate your sr gains and give you 'feelgood' winstreaks.
So they do that, then they take it away with a forced loss streak to frustrate you. And you'll think "this isn't right, I have to win it back" and you'll keep playing for them and (hopefully) buying boxes

The game needs battle themes during the matches.The quick little tunes at the beginning and end are nice but there needs to be a continuous theme for each stage as well. Doesn't have to be loud, just be audible as the background sound it would be.

We need another airborne character, but unlike Pharah this one should be able to actually fly, moving around in the air as much as they please. While airborne their control would be looser and they'd be more vulnerable but they can dive and swoop and dodge in 3D.

Getting 1 kill in a teamfight isnt all that productive since you are never going to be on the frontline or the point. Getting 1 pick is little more than evening the teamfight. The 2nd and third kills are what make you an advantage on the team.

The problem with playing widow is it means your not playing anything else. Any other offense hero can get one or two elims in a teamfight, but also aid in capping, and provide ult charge to the healers.

Yes theoretically you can play the "counters" to those heroes, but it won't matter enough to make them swap off because they're just that good. Winston/D.va is a mainstay precisely because they can't be hard countered by anything other than Winston/D.va. And to make matters worse, Mercy is there too.

The BEAT Invitational, with the exception of Rogue, was full of Tier 2 teams with a 6k (yes, $6000) prize pool. It's not really a showcase of the best strategies in OW.

Furthermore, Tier 2 teams who get the spotlight are much more likely to play safe, conventional strats because the cost of a risk going bad is suicide for their image, as they have scarce opportunity to redeem themselves.

Literally watch the VOD from the Apex GF last night. The two best teams in the world pulled out Sombra literally ever map, Reaper was played on Anubis and Volskaya at least (to my memory).

You literally out yourself as someone who hasn't watched a pro match in the last few months if you think Sombra is off meta.
