What would it take to revitalize Smite's playerbase?

I honestly don't think at this point it can do more to bring in a crowd. They brought in Paladins as it's own game and slowly became an TF2/Overwatch clone. Only thing Smite had going from other MOBA was it's perspective view which is one reason why Smite attracted me in the first place since I didn't like the other moba style.

What I'm trying to say is Shit's fucked!

How to kill a game:

>Constantly increase prices of buyables
>Care not about OP characters as long as their skins sell
>Make everything chest exclusive
>Allow two f7s to be worth more than 3 f6s, no matter how poorly the f7ers are doing
>Don't give a flying fuck about matchmaking and allow people to be paired with those thirty levels above or below them

Is it just this thread or the game is really dead? Is SMITE the 3rd most played MOBA? Or It's HOTS?

Cute new bear girl has me wanting to get into the game. What do I need to know to transition from league? Currently D2 NA in League, will that translate over at all?

Thread is obviously dead, but I also think the game is declining I'm only basing this on how long queues are for super casual modes. Where it used to be less than 2 minutes now I wait 5+ minutes for dumb modes.

Minions hurt early on, NEVER buy stuff with gems if you have the option to buy with favor, watch pro games to learn builds don't trust builds you see on websites, and read ability and item descriptions.
