I tried Take Two for the first time this expansion because I was getting tired of Bloodladder.

I drafted a really good deck with Olivia and Bahamut in it and lost my last 4 games to the craziest bullshit imaginable. Sword with TWO Hero of Antiquity (basically and auto-win in take 2) and a shadow with Eachtar that just destroyed me

By definition a Control deck is a deck that attempts to attain victory in the late game with removal, blocking/wards/taunts/etc, and ending with powerful cards in the later rounds of the game. The decks that run Aegis right now are Storm Haven decks that simply use it because it adds another layer for their wincon. It would be a control deck if the entire strategy was to just wait out until that Turn 9, but since it's in Storm Haven, it's just another toss-in since Storm Haven greatest wincon has always been seen as midrange/aggro since you're simply swining face with overstated followers and going for devastating Turn 6s with Garuda, which is even better now because of Tin Solider. Aegis-focused decks like in TotG were control decks, but Aegis decks now aren't.

Aggro Dreadshift is actually a thing lol. You jsut play the neutral package while still keeping a bit of the removal and the general wincon. Now you have 2. Also Aggro Nep doesn't work since you need make sure you can get good value out of your Nep; their was a deck that ran 5 different pp followers that was pretty good during TotG, but Eachtar was too good to bother anymore.

The inclusion of Garuda doesn't just automatically swing something into a storm deck. Aria and March Hares are high value cards, the former has been a Haven staple since its inclusion in the game and the latter is picking up its identity right now. The bulk of the lists that DO borrow heavily from Storm are still heavily built around classic control skeletons.

Snow White is a new card, calling her a Storm card is ridiculous when she's neither built to support the deck nor even a fully dedicated staple in it. Hell, at the start of the expansion the Storm lists were the only Haven deck not running her because they were fitting in the neutral kit.

Following that, her and hound are both ran for their value as defensive cards, they're inferior two-drops in regards to their ability to go face.

Aria has always been a class staple, and I haven't seen a single Aegis list running Pinions and Birdsongs. I doubt you could find one with results going through meta deck listings.

I have seen the Garuda tech to hit Pinions and follow up March Hares (typically used for their control function) but the single playset does not change the function or the strategy of the Aegis list. Go fuck yourself.

Though it can be replaced by something like Iron Maiden, Dogma is really good in that deck. Plea, Beastcall, Dogma is still a good curve if you go first. Also, Dogma helps to cycle through the deck and pop your Tea Times. It also lets you prematurely pop Tribunals which comes in handy and people rarely expect.
