Mages are weak and overrated in Dragon Age games. I am breezing through Nightmare difficulty with my two-handed warrior right now. Same with the mage in Origins, the warrior has more dps/survivability.

I don't know. Maybe the mage class felt weak to me because it was my first Origins playthrough and I didn't know the useful spells/combinations. I had to lower the difficulty at various points in the game. I had no trouble in my Warrior/Rogue playthroughs.

Mostly Vanguard, Champion and some defensive skills from the One-Handed tree for a Tank. You need at least one tank in your team, and Blackwall has the Champion specialization so make him your group's tank.

For Cassandra: put some points in the Guard abilities(though they draw enemy aggression) or enchant her weapon to generate guard-on-hit and she would survive as a Two-Handed Warrior on Nightmare difficulty. Without guard, she would melt.

Even if your companions and the people surrounding you are mostly good people, Tevinter will keep being full of crazy slavers, the Qun will have to be annihilated for the Qunari to stop bitching about it, and even if the most progressive Leliana is Divine people still try to kill her because her ideas are too pacifist and pro-non human races.

And not even your companions in the series are that pure: Dorian thinks slavery is a good thing if done well, Cassandra is terribly pro-Chantry and wants a non-human Inquisitor to accept the Maker, Wynne is pro-Circle and is a pain in the ass with her lectures about the Chantry, Sten hates everyone who isn't the Warden and knows his people will come conquer the south soon, Velanna is racist as fuck towards shemlen etc.

Ludvig Forssell suffered the same fate with MGSV. Some really good tracks are just outright not even in the game but just on the extended soundtrack and the other good ones play for like 5 seconds and are ruined by background noise, or only play during optional events. The setting and the lore is definitely better than Dragon Age 2.

I have recently become a huge fan of the Dragon Age universe, so even the most boring parts of the game like Hinterlands seem interesting to me. When you know about the world and character backgrounds, story of the previous games, all the lore, etc, Inquisition plays far more interesting.

I think Corypheus fucking up with the orb was a good thing for Solas. Being forced to play the long game is what let him get attached and realize that these are actual lives he's planning on destroying.
