Been away from the game for 9 months or so because the constant fucking lack of legitimate content updates eventually turned me away from the game - is berserker's gear still meta? Checked battle.net and it seems like everyone and their fucking mother uses vipers now? Did they seriously gut berserker's stats even though it was practically meta since the game's inception?

Also, is the game dead? Seems like every single social discussion board I've been to is completely dead/nonexistant for this game (official boards, reddit and here as well) so I'm going to assume the game's pretty much dying, even with the new expansion coming up?

Vipers is meta for raids but zerker is still meta for open world. In fact, open world in the HoT and after is better than the normal game since the monsters all just have like 1 big attack and if you avoid it you don't get buttraped like you do in the regular open world where a tiny practically invisible telegraph could wipe out 50% of your hp.

Condi is slightly better than power in pvp but it comes down to personal skill more.
