Someone posted an Astolfo card with several overrides on it, the other I saved from that one guy's Mega, Mordred. I'm thinking it was probably the Astolfo card, but I can't be certain. I deleted all the overrides and reloaded my previous ones, but that didn't seem to help.

When I looked at the local list, I looked for a jg2p01_00_XXXX.pp file, but didn't find one, so I assumed the XXXX was just a variable and was in the process of looking at every file with a similar beginning to its path, but I hadn't gotten to looking at the Hexa files yet.

AAU v0.4 is going public!

Changes:
+poser heavily renovated, now including better rotations and toggleable guides to help even more
(for the guides, enter the poser, press "toggle guides," leave the poser, go back into it and click "show guides")
+the ability to automatically save screenshots as jpgs (best available jpg quality)
+the previous "tan virus" from loose tan files is fixed, and selecting "None" in AAU tans now returns to the vanilla game tan method
+various stability fixes
+Triggers are included but unstable and hidden. Add a line for "bTriggers = true" in your config file to enable them. Use at your own discretion

Is there any reason why opening AAedit/face would cause the game to visually freeze? I like to check on traits and such while playing, but after checking, the game will sometimes appear frozen, although interactions and such still work, just the window hasn't updated visually.

Card of the character I want doesn't exist but AA2 is superb so everything I need now is a custom hat. Could anyone point to a brief guide for me about modelling and injecting stuff into the game please? I can extract things from .pp and manage polygons but all these import settings and compatibility make me crazy, also I don't understand how hair slots work (are they really limited?).
Actually, a brief guide will be pretty useless, step by step instruction is the right thing and I wonder why we don't have it yet.

So im having an issue of "Bones" aka the poser staying even after I leave the uniform editor, or leaving interactions.

And I cannot get the guides to appear because of that. I did a fresh install of AAU to see if there was any conflicting stuff causing this and removed my old AAU folder. Nope it still persists.
I do not have the "always on top" option enabled.

I went through the config file to see if there was anything. I typed "false" on the "bUseClothesPoser" config. Poser still pops up in the uniform editor.

IIRC this is one of the features of the renovated poser - it stays open in the background so it doesn't have to open from scratch every time you load a dialogue scene or enter the clothing editor and thus obscure part of the window.

What you do to get the guides is relatively simple

>exit whatever you were in
>now enter a new dialogue scene or reenter the clothing screen

You have to make a .xml file for the personality. It's not particularly difficult, look at the ones that exist for personalities and copy their structure. use the google doc for reference on what slots they occupy.

You *can* edit an existing one and add values to it, though it may or may not be a better idea to make a separate .xml file dedicated to the added personality or personalities. Remember that when you give ReiEdit an XML file, it doesn't actually know whether that thing you've added exists or not.

You need AAFace to have the dropdowns for the remaining 120~ slots.

There's a lot to it. Read the readme, there's a more friendly guide in the works. AAUnlimited is about ignoring slots though. AAFace is for maximizing the use of the game's slots. You need both working together to be the BEST.

You're looking for Izumi Haruko. Make sure you download her mod card and her normal card. Open up the mod card in the maker (with AAU running) in order to extract her overrides, and DO NOT USE IT IN-GAME. Use her normal card for actual gameplay!. Her eye textures are in her subfolder if you need them, but they should be in the Ultimate collection.

The mod card doesn't extract anything if you already have the overrides, so if you downloaded the loose overrides you don't need the mod card.

So I just redownloaded AA2 after 2 years.
Got the AA2 install and installed a Soundpack for new BGM.

It shows as green in AA2install - yet the music is still the default one?
Tried putting the BGM into the customBGM folder in the play folder, named them from BGM00-13 to AA2BGM00-13.

Data sets are folders that make the game load alternate files of your choice instead of the regular .pp files. They follow this structure:

where SET_NAME is an arbitrary name of your choice. For a set to be active its name must begin with the character "!", otherwise it will be ignored.

PP_FOLDER is the name of the .pp file (without extension) where the file you wish to replace is located in

FILE is the file you wish to make the game load.
