I'd say that it's enough, when your rectile is as focused as possibel (in other words, you have full control over the shot). Around 250 is usually ok for Siedge Crossbow iifc (not sure here).

I think that it would not hurt to have 100 more prof. at every moment with every weapon, but proficiency will almost stop rising at some point (depends how much WM do you have)
So if you just want to grind some prof. for tournaments - 200 is gonna be ok, if you want to use it "regular way"- just don't bother, it will rise and stop rising on its own

how the fuck do you survive as an independent faction in this game? After taking my 3rd castle the rhodoks decide to assrape me and take it back and then the khergits and the other sandfucks made an alliance and declared war on me and then the vaegirs fucking declared war on me, im barely making 500 denars a week which isnt enough to raise any sort of army, considering raising a 200 strong army of swadian peasants only works when you are sieging literal retards. ive got multiple dyeworks but all their funds are being conviscatedd because everyone is at war with me, my castles are too far apart so i cant travel back and forth and fill their garrisons with swadian peasants fast enough.no one wants peace because im an upstart faggot with a insurrection i can only fund because i keep taking out loans and never paying them back.

I'm somewhat new to mount&blade, why a castle give me huge amounts of denars on taxes the first times and then the next weeks that amount gets cut down to like a 20 percent? Now they give me like 200 denars only.

I like it, but there there a few things i absolutely hate. The characters may look more detailed, but holy shit it's hard to make any character other than Germanic JawMcVikingpants of the Hapsburg Dynesty. And while i love the attention put into the armors, there really isn't enough variety. well, not in the good sense. there's a hundred different fucking reskins of basic clothes, which is alright in and of itself i suppose. but for actual armor, you're limited as all hell. This may be accurate for the post migration era northern europe, but man is it boring to see most of the armor is just "chainmail shirt with slightly different sleeve length" or "gambason with slightly different color pallet" I also woulda liked to see a lot more remnants of late roman gear. The different Lorica and the Berkasovo styled helmets are my favorite armor pieces in the game. but damn do i hate the fact that you can actually die during the story. If you forget to save every five minutes, you may just end up ragequitting because some of the battles can end up taking half an hour. Especially the one with over 2000 warriors.

I also like how in a normal sandbox, theres still actual quests though, and things to work towards. it's not immediatelly the same thing you've done 10000 times in every other warband game. you know, the "go get some guys, fight raiders for 5 hours and then either join a faction or make one" gameplay.
Overall, it was worth five bucks, but the Brytenwalda team really shoulda thought on some things a little longer, unless of course Taleworlds rushed them, in which case, it's understandable.

The only notable bug i can thing of are the naked men who try to rape you in the middle of the night sometimes. instead of normal bandits you'll get naked custom troops like "troop A2" or some shit

So has the bug where you get kicked out of your party fixed in Dickplo? The bug also stunts hp regen out of combat.
I've lost two Dickplo saves for this bug already. I'm not using Custom Troop Trees in these saves.

There's no reason why you /couldn't/ throw an axe. But as for dedicated throwing axes, depends on where you are. This is around the time Franciscas were known to be used by the Franks or other germanics. I don't know if throwing axes were widely used in the islands however.

You need to rest for months to get that health pool replenished. Also those 2000 thousands HP deplete surprisingly easily. Meanwhile with ton of AGI you are literally a medieval Flash and no one can even hit you, while you effectively deliver lance couching damage with mere kitchen knife due to all the speed you have.

So today I snapped into full autism mode again and did ballistic tests vs different armors and also tested enemy archer AI. Some of the finds you may find interesting:

War bow with PD of 4 has potential to perforate winged helmet for 90 damage at close distance.

Enemy archers have 2 modes of fire. When they approach, they just shit arrows in target general direction. Probability of individual target getting hit at this stage is around zero. When they get into certain distance, they stop and actually try aiming. This is when they get dangerous. When aiming at dismounted target, they target the upper torso, and around 25% of arrows will hit the head. Chance to be shot in legs is 0% though, even when you are barefoot they won't shoot at your legs, unless you block. When blocking, they only aim at your legs, at any distance. When firing at horseman, they randomly switch between aiming at torso of the rider, and shooting the center of the mass of horse. Even charger dies very quick if you just let enemy archers just shoot at you while standing.

Given the head damage I mentioned, and the fact that 25% of arrows will hit your head, no amount of armor will ever make you "arrow-proof". Except for bandit shitters with short bows and 1 in PD. Even these bandits will often hit your head for 10-12 damage.
