It doesn't matter, endgame always defines thetime of the end, MMOS are never done. As long as more money can be made from more content, more content may possibly be made. (see: RO, MS, WoW, etc). The only exception is the game dying or staying around despite a sequel due to technical reasons (EQ/2)

I recommend giving it shot, the game really doesn't feel that dead, not how people in this thread make it seem anyways - Queue times can take some time (especially at later levels) but I mostly think that's due to people only doing stuff with their guilds and guilds in this game are capped pretty low compared to literally any other game with guilds, end game is stale like others have stated but I think more end game content will come (the game has only been out a little over a year).

As for leveling, there is a new player event right now, you should easily be able to hit 200 and maybe even 300 just through the event alone.

I'm a player that just started with this event and got multiple characters to 317 pretty easily. Just grab a sac/bless from vendors in town and then go grind stuff 30-40 levels above you (like at tenet), hit 50, get a buff from the whale event, and then run dungeons. A couple runs of 50 should get you to 80, where you then open your chest to get the warp to 80, run 80 to get to 110, etc. Save your multiply tokens for 200/230/260, since that's when it starts getting tedious. You can use a couple on 170 too if you want. You'll be getting instance resets and multiply tokens out the ass, so you could hit 260 or even 317 in a day if you really, really wanted to.

This game had the potential to be amazing. Well done (?) classes, lots of options, cool skills, detailed areas, every zone had a treasure with interesting things in it., levelling was hard, but rewarding, it has somehow good music, a relaxing game that could be challenging too it you want.
Now everything is a reskin. same zones, same monsters, same music, equip is nothing more than a stronger variant of the one that came some levels before with a different skin (and oh god they become worse and worse the more you go up in levels).
I started playing 1 month ago. Fucked around a bit with my character, had to grind a bit/explore the map, it was nice, although I didn't know much and fucked up the build.
Then the new event came, and I simply made a new account, 1 week and I have 4x 330 characters with semi-endgame gear, everything left to do are daily chores like ET and saluus. PvP is a joke, GvG too.
The main problem is that companies don't play the game they make. How the fuck are they supposed to earn money, especially if they try to cater to their beloved "casuals", when you can reach cap on 4 different builds, each one with good gear (Purple pract/purple HG) that can clear any content in the game, all within a week and without spending a single dollar?
No wonder this game is dying.
