No weapons had empty ability modifier slots in the beta. You can't draw a comparison of modifier slots between weapons and armor in the beta, because weapons don't have them. You can't draw a comparison between modifier slots in the gameplay reveal, because you don't know if armor has them. At best you could try some sort of weapon-in-gameplay-reveal to armor-in-beta comparison, but it requires a lot of assumptions (including that no UI elements have changed in the obviously different builds).

No, those are not equivalent statements. "Cannot draw conclusions" means "cannot set probabilities close to 0% or 100%". There are lots of meaningful values between those. Like 50%.

Assuming only one perk of CDR (one per armor peice), it lowered grenade by a whopping 33% per perk. 4 gear lowering 33% each time (of course, of actual value not of base), would put it at 17 seconds. Even then I'd still have a 970 at the least, its got another card generation until its significantly weaker in performance, right now its still a great card. I also say this specifically for Destiny 2 because Standard PS4 specs are about equal to a below average CPU and a GTX 760ti and that runs both D1 and 2 at 1080/30.
For a smooth 1080/60 at around max settings the recommended specs from them are 3.1 GHz CPU and a 970 and personally I think that sounds about right.

But the problem with systems like that, either they're essentially meaningless like in D1 (Where the only thing that mattered was cooldown speed, six months from now most people won't even remember ability range perks existed in D1) Or they need to be balanced on a pinhead because shit can go awry in a second like in warframe where 90% of the frame are basically shit if you don't stack every single ability range mod in the game.

How sure are you that it was reduced cooldown perks and not reduced cooldown mods? Do you have any evidence to back up your claim?

Everything I've outlined has been based on what's been made available to me. I've never seen any of the reduced cooldown effects in the item inspection screen, because I don't think anyone had access to a build where you had armor with those effects and could inspect it at the same time. From what scant evidence is available, it looks like they're mods slotted into the empty modifier slot in our beta gear. I can't confirm that, but it's least stretch given what we know (that gameplay reveal gear had these effects, that we can't confirm whether or not they had an empty modifier slot because we couldn't inspect, that beta gear did not have these effects, but we confirmed beta gear did have empty modifier slots).

I thought the reactor room with the spinning turbines was one of the coolest parts of the mission. I thought it was awesome that the fun level design was leaking out of raids, was finally starting to match the player's toolkit, starting to be designed around the ability to control your character in the air, with real verticality and interesting jump puzzles, as opposed to linear levels with occasional holes to jump over.

Let's take a moment to really take in the deep lore and understanding in the Aksis encounter.

The entire room is in the shape of the Destiny symbol (Tricorn). The back, left and right areas make up the "Y" and Aksis' platform is the "0"

If you look at the environment of the area, you can see Fallen technology on the left and Warmind (Human) tech on the right. Aksis being in the middle symbolizes that he is the centerpiece or culmination of Fallen and Human technology being used together.

When you start the Phase 2 fight, Aksis and the structure holding him extends outward from a hole. This is similar to the Archon you fight after being raised by your Ghost, and it's similar to the Archon Rising you can find in the vanilla Cosmodrome when you choose a VIP Patrol mission; both Fallen bosses climb out of a hole in the wall.

If you spell Aksis backwards, you get Siska, which sounds awfully similar to Shishka, one of the first Bungie.net moderators.

I wouldn't even call it lore since you don't have to go learning about the game world or read the grimoire, half this shit directly contradicts just the reveal and teaser trailers alone, not even to mention all the interviews.

They did straight up said the farm would expand and grow as you progress through the game.

I hope its actual evolving playerspace so when we're three years and five expansions in, rather than having three or four social spaces, we actually have a small town we actually watched being built and expanded. It would do a lot for making it feel like a home and not just a place you run to when you need to pop your engrams.
