It's a thing because on one point of the game pure damage did matter, so DE implemented Bane mods which were "best in slot" mods for pure damage against specific factions.

Now pure damage no longer works, but DE don't play their game so they don't know that.

The only thing that effects the stats are the mods equipped on your secondary.
When you use her 4, it works like Excal's exalted blade and you actually equip the Regulators. Presumably they automatically gain the fire rate buff due to being a dual wield secondary.

Snipers are shit because they're slow and there's no area where they're useful. WF is all about killing hordes of enemies in relatively small spaces. Even "open" maps like Hieracon never require anything more than the standard zoom every gun has.

I find the Gas-Electric Lanka to be fun , it chain kills /gasses groups of 2-6 enemies in one shot

BUT it took a status chance riven and lots of forma , single target snipers like the Vectis are out of luck in this game

does anyone else just run phorid over and over sometimes? I like going fast and quickly completing a mission, I like the familiarity of that tileset, and I like seeing if there are pubs who can keep up with or even outpace me - sometimes I even like seeing the conclave rating bump him up to like 100

All the frame quests are following an individual/original frame in their untimely demise or worse. While the story is only delivered in parts, there's no significant ambiguity, just missing detail mistaken for depth.

The main questline is mostly a case of a lack of self awareness among the writers: They include indications of being manipulated by the Lotus, but never follow up. We're expected to take at face value characters that utterly lack trustworthy qualities, and on the other hand are expressly told to accept that out of the main factions, there's scarcely a dozen straight shooters to work with.

If the syndicate quests spelled things out any more bluntly, they'd be pop-up books.

Use Loki for infinite wall cling, and any high fire rate rife or secondary for the headshots.
