Used up literally all of my orbs (Arena + Daily bonus) but finally got a Delthea on my last roll. Neutral IVs which I'm fine with, just means I may have to use darting blow/L&D to supplement somewhat lacking speed.

I'm a little worried about CYL and/or Celica banners coming soon since I won't have a lot of orbs but I think I'll just start saving up until I hit 100-ish at least.

I dont understand people who complain about cav teams. The only place you get to fight against players with it is the arena...which is AI controlled so you can somehow dodge them...or you take a loss and use your 300+ swords to get another streak going. I know its illegal but if isis nerfed dire thunder many challenges in game would be even harder. Lets remember the fact that they started buffing enemies like crazy in new game modes and GHB and stuff,to the point that even cav teams have trouble keeping up

Not him, but you clearly need to look at other cav mages too, Rein is just the most popular option. Neither TA nor tanky greens will help you against a proper blade mage on a horse, like Cecilia, Ursula, or even worse, Olwen. Against those, you will need some very specific team compositions, which will probably undermine your ability to handle other enemy teams.

L&D3 will only give her middling speed at best and she will need a speed buff next to her so that she can reach fast territory. You'll probably need Desperation if you do run L&D though, and it still won't be as good as a unit that reaches 40 speed without buffs (like neutral speed Delthea with L&D, various Linde/B. Caeda builds, etc).

Alternatively you could keep DB3 and run B. Tomebreaker like you said, your magical bulk and Tomebreaker will save you from blue mages and Nowis, but you'll need a unit dedicated to handling common physical blue DC units like Camus and Effie, as well as Reinhardt depending on your tier.

Turns out you can tank and kill a fully buffed cecila with TA and dont get me started about any of the lesser blade horses, you really can try the calcs if you dont believe me turns out dealing nearly HALF damage to the wrong color and taking 1.4x dmg makes any amount of blade tome shenanigans way less hard to deal with. just because you refuse to use a skill out of in theory it could skrew you doesnt mean it actually happens in practice.

FE4 genuinely needs some rethinking though IMO. I like that the huge maps give a sense of scale to the battles but you do spend lots of turns just moving around.

The worst part is when you need to navigate the forest in Chapter 1 and the desert in Chapter 5. That's not even hard, it's just several turns of moving 2 squares at a time.

Also if you ask me, FE4 was too easy because the Holy Weapons just shit all over everything, especially Balmung. I think the game needs more instances of the enemy being aggressive and splitting up and charging at your base like they do in Chapter 9.

I guess at least you could kinda argue have a reason for the backtracking in Chapter 2-4. In Chapter 2 it's introducing you to enemies charging at your castles (since in Chapter 1 you get bailed out) with a really lax turncount as appropriate, Chapter 3 has a slightly harder example, and Chapter 4 has those civilians to save.

Honestly I like the idea behind the giant maps and terrain in FE4, but if they ever remade it I don't know a way to preserve that feeling without having the tedium associated with moving around them.

Leaf is a bland, bad lord. Mr. GEEZ is inferior to his son, and the majority of G1 units are either useless or incredibly one-note. All that's really missing in terms of strong or fun characters from the games are Quan(He's a bit of a retard, but the gay bulge is fun), Sety, Arvis and Kempf.

Yep. You can even merge a merged character onto an unmerged one and keep all of them. IE a +3 merged into a +1 will still give you a +4. It's a lot less relevant now that SP grinding is so much easier, but it's still nice.
