Discard is fucking retarded and only works on Doomguard because it's an adequate drawback for a powerful card.

That's not entirely true anon. Ozruk can actually be quite good when played against aggro after discovering it off of a Servant of Kalimos.

I mean yeah there's usually better choices in the discover and you'd definitely never want to put it in your deck but when it's obvious that your opponent is almost out of steam and has no single target removal dropping a 5/20 or 5/15 Ozruk can close out the game completely.

It's a very situational thing, but occasionally Ozruk can be used to make absolutely sure your opponent can't turn the game back around with a board clear or something. Still, never actually put it in your deck, it's usefulness as a massive wall is too situational.

That's not how N'zoth works (if you give a minion deathrattle after you summon it it does not come back), so there's no reason this would be different. That said, it will work for Choose One minions that transform into taunts because these effects revive minions based on the keywords on the minion card itself.

Maybe they don't have a million, but the big druid taunts are classically fantastically statted. Arakkoa is a boulderfist that lost 1 attack for taunt. Ironbark has premium 8 mana stats.

That being said, this card is to push the big butt druid. All their taunts that mean anything are 5+ attack. Also, bog creepers.

On its own, it really is. Popping 1 minion per turn that is 1/1 higher than the previous iteration of it is really weak, especially when you gotta shuffle once in a while to not run out.

Look, N'zoth is an incredible card. Not without some issues. Blizz has marked it as a heavy limiter on card design space. It's a really hard card/combo/archetype to deal with, overall. You gotta notice how hesitant they are to print any big, significant Deathrattles.
What other card text type has big, significant minions? Taunt. This Hadronox is gonna summon a board of big dudes really hard to deal with. No minion damage is getting through that, Jade decks are toast.
You might say, AoE is really strong; a good bit of decks can kill it, and it doesn't have the N'Zoth benefit of Deathrattles triggering as a result. This is a fair point.
If Druid survives until Turn 10 this is going to be a whopper, that's all there is to it.

The main issue is that it has a fucking atrocious statline for the cost, and much more importantly it has to *die* for the effect to trigger.

It's a 3/7 for 9 mana with no additional effect until it dies. Acidmaw, as completely garbage as it was, could do work with it's effect the second it hit the field.

I would rather have a consistent 4/3 beast with elusive over a 4/2 charge 4/4 taunt or 2/4 raid leader any day. Rolling low on animal companion can ruin you, why leave it to chance?

Elusive is a killer t3 anyway because hunters will nearly always have the board that early on, which is why misha and huffer attract so much removal. Removing that option just forced your opponent to play minions allowing you to keep the board and curve into houndmaster or putricide

Alternatively double crackliny razormaw on this for something crazy like +3/+3 or windfury divine shield or whatever

Hunter is all about the early game curve board control, and a super faerie dragon brings that in spades
