Just so you know, the extra quest on a second run will be addressed in the prologue in relation to certain enemies, it's not major but i'll give you a quick rundown of what happened in it.

Geofront B is having issues, and water is not coming out for certain houses, engineer asks you to check what the problem is before it becomes widespread, you go the previously locked elevator, and at one point run into archisms, and the place getting frozen, you keep going until you run into an angel type archaism, similar to the ones Joachim used in his first phase, except blue and with strong ice powers, you beat it and everything goes back to normal, but you don't know why it was there.

Lloyd will recognize the Blue Angel archaism in the prologue, thanks to that.

The part that makes me laugh about is that "bad" PC ports are almost always equivalent or barely better than the console version, garbage ports from WB like Arkham Knight and MKX which have both been fixed being the rare exception. Thats specifically because they hired trash tier 3rd party devs to port.

Even recent ports considered bad or unoptimized like Dishonored 2 were still better than the console versions which had framerate dips into the low 20's. PC gamers tend to be much more picky and have higher standards albeit sometimes unreasonable and very inflated, many jap devs got a rude awakening when they started porting to PC like Fromsoft with Dark Souls.

But still, the game has to be enourmous to properly introduce all the new characters and answer all the questions left unanswered since Ao and I fear Falcom may not be able to properly handle a game this big.

One thing you should keep in mind. Using save states fucks up with the game for some reason, even without the voice patch. The cutscenes make models swap between themselves or they vanish.

To fix it you can save, go back to the PPSSPP menu, and reload the normal save, and there will be no bugs. Basically, use save states, but remember to do the step above to cutscenes don't get fucked.

1 and 2 are still enjoyable and have many great things about them. I really like a lot of the ideas it had going for it even if the presentation wasn't always up to standards. With it being said that 3 will have the biggest scenario and the last of the trilogy it seems like a safe bet it'll be amazing to me. Though I know not to set up my expectations too high just in case.

What a game, Zero is easily the best game that I've played so far in the series. Everything felt like it gelled together just right and the cast was like-able and relate-able as well.

A solid 8 or 9/10 game, I feel. Deduction for the shitty buff system and me not being able to find Haze all the way up to the final dungeon. On top of physical attacks being complete ass in the last two chapters outside of S-Crafts/Combo Crafts.
