Didn't actually read the story stuff in 2, but Theresa appears there in Sakura mode (playable) and Nun mode (boss.)

Her playable version description mentions that she got a "special ability" after meeting Sakura.

Normal Sakura only shows up as a boss, she uses swords like in 3rd. Mei was less focused on swords there, though, she was mostly just thunder stuff.

Don't think there's anything suggesting a Sakura-Kiana, but I don't see much reason it couldn't happen, either.

She's possessing Mei at the end of her Open World storyline.

In the flashback Sakura found Karen almost dead near a river. She helped her and picked up a pink box that had a demon inside of it. They lived together there for a while but then Sakura's sister died of illness and she got mad nobody helped her so using the demon's power she tried to kill everyone. She fought Karen and at the very last moment Sakura regained control of her body to stop the demon and Karen managed to put a seal on it, but not before the demon managed to fatally wound Karen.

In present time our girls arrive at a fake Yae village. The seal was undone and Sakura is out again, reliving the life she had 500 years ago. You defeat everyone and save the day. At the end Sakura asks Mei to lend her her body because she doesn't want to disappear, she wants to be a good miko and protect everyone like her sister wanted her to be.

I've been playing for like a week now, autistically setting my schedule around it, trying my best to maximize my AP to XP conversion. Halfway through 31 already.
Fueled by nothing but the fear that I won't have the ability to actually get the swimsuits, either because I won't have the gear or the level required for the swimsuits.

I've been doing the same but im only 27. It wasn't too hard to set myself a schedule to never let my AP cap and i've been mostly farming theresa stuff.

Sakura's event stigma seems to be pretty shit so we're not missing much and the swimsuit event seems like its going to last a really long while so I have faith that they'll let lower leveled people get swimsuits considering the game hasnt been out for that long compared to CN.

The farming stage? Nothing special, my anima sucks too. I'm even under the recommended power. I bring 2 physical and 2 magical attackers to deal with resistances.

Mind you I'm skipping the Rutee extra fight because it's a waste of time in my opinion. Makes my runs too long so I'd rather just auto everything up until the boss, unleash my MA and call it a day.

In the boss fight who I attack first depends on who my support is.
If it is Kyle then Kyle > Sorey > Support Kyle kill the white one then Mikleo > Reala kill or leave almost dead the black one.
If it is Reala then Mikleo > Reala attack the black one, switch targets to the white one and Kyle > Sorey > Support Reala. Since Reala's gacha MA hits the entire screen and both are at low HP it will kill them both at the same time.

What does chaguma char do that causes the boss to fall down so often?

I see. I wish I had Mikleo, my best option for a ranged healer is Mireena or Elize I guess. Somehow I still have 0 4* weapons for Mireena so I don't know how much she would help besides healing.

I also figured the final 15AP fight was the farming one, but looking at the missions it seems it's just there as a challenge/1 time clear thing. I can do the farming stage pretty reliably then if I skip Rutee.

Yeah the last 15AP is just a challenge. The quest achievements are 10k of each currency but it's a pain in the ass to clear. You have to lure Stahn, Leon and Rutee each one to a different corner of the map, keep them there and kill them one by one. If two decide to focus on one character he'll be pretty much dead. Stahn can decide to spam his flying fire kick nonstop until you die too.
