I'm assmad that the Squid Sisters amiibos are completely useless now. I would have loved to see upgraded performances. The gear you get is ugly and you can't even change locations in the shitty photo feature like you can with the inklings.

In fact, I'm even more assmad about the way they got completely shafted post-story. Callie doesn't show up at all anywhere, and Marie just continues to stand around in Octo Canyon. Off the Hook are cool and all, and the story mode was great, but man, this sucks.

Is it just me or is this ranked rotation absolute shit? I just got back to Ranked mode and was doing alright during the Splat Zones part earlier but I can't win a single match to save my life on Tower Control with these awful maps.

It feels like after your team dies on the first push trying to take the tower on Sturgeon Shipyard the enemy team just takes the high ground near your spawn and it's almost impossible to contest, let alone try to attack the tower.

Good question. at first glance it seems this is their equivalent of reproduction by budding but I'm not completely sure. At the very least, the Sunken Scrolls suggest the bigger Octarian machines like the Octostomp are "piloted" by tentacles severed in that manner. Given that they all look like Octavio's, it's probable that he (or possibly it, if we're to assume they don't have actual sexes) provided said tentacles to act as their "pilots". I can only assume they grow back very quickly.

I'm tempted to think that the Octolings are the "base" species and that the other Octarians are recently harvested tentacles that have yet to fully mature, or perhaps it's some kind of caste system where the number of tentacles an individual has is directly linked to their intelligence and/or social status. It's shit like this that people ought to ask the devs.

So, the SP Pro is worthless. Use the .96 Gal or Slosher instead. The Squelcher and the Heavy Splat are both good mid-long range weapons, do the same damage and have the same range. But you're sacrificing mobility and close range combat for fire rate with the Heavy Splat. Squelcher has a very good sub loadout, and the Heacvy-sp has a mediocre one.

The .96 Gal and Slosher is preference again. Both are two shot, but .96 Gal has a very minuscule range increase, like less than half a second of walking in difference. Its basically the Slosher in gun form, but the Slosher has a much better sub loadout.

ps., im rank B+/A-/A. And I've been using these weapons exclusively since release, so i kinda know what im doing
