I can't fuck stand lalafells in this game. It's not even a hatred of little things, but it's because they're such sheltered community fucking victim complex faggots that I can't help but detest them.

For fuck's sake I've heard of 9, NINE (9) fucking 'lalafell only' linkshells. Do you know how many elezen/hyur/miqo'te only linkshells I've seen advertised? Fucking none.

I have no idea what the fuck they do when they roleplay, either, because I see them huddling around in groups of 4-5 lalafell with maybe some fucking elezen/roegadyn overseer/babysitter. Are lalafell just so fucking disgusting that every Rper has decided they need to be quarantined?

I'm a Paladin, /xivg/, and I got Goring Blade, and I'm not too far away from Royal Authority. As I understand it I should use the Riot Blade->Goring and then Riot Blade->Royal Authority instead of the Halone combo I have been using until now if I have good aggro, right? I haven't gotten Requiescat and Holy Spirit yet, because I'm level 55, but I intend to hit 60 before the end of the week.

Their AF3 gear is hideous unless you like the reference. They're still somewhat turret-like but with Enochian changes, Umbral Hearts and yoyo-ing between people and Ley Lines with Aetherial Manipulation and Between the Lines, the class is definitely more interesting and less "I dropped Enochian and I want to die"

Yeah. Assuming an average pug group versus a boss, you want to do a Halone combo or two, swap to Sword Oath if you're comfortable on both the aggro lead and defence, then use Goring Blade into two Authority combos and repeat. Before 60 it's also better to just straight up use Goring over and over if the only thing you care about is damage single-target compared to Halone.

SMN was generally better than BLM in HW because of sheer mobility and a large number of add fights but both sat out of HW's meta due to the large number of physical debuffs and the utility a lot of them brought.
They're the worst caster this patch since their utility and mobility got outclassed by RDM, their DPS got severely outclassed by BLM and you could argue that getting Between the Lines also made BLM better in mobility. On top of that Demi-Bahamut is just a polished turd that blocks vision of mechanics and does not compensate at all for everything SMN lost.
So right now SMN is around the same DPS as RDM in turret/low mechanical requirement fights, trailing behind in more movement-heavy fights without having RDM's utility and trails VERY far behind a skilled BLM.

Savage has really made me a bitter cunt about this game. I can flawlessly clear 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0 every time without question (because it's literally memorization with slight variables), but no matter what there's always at least 3 shitters on my team that ruin it for the rest of us. I had about 800 hours in the game before Savage dropped, any time my team was having difficulty with a raid I would remain friendly and try and help them out. Now I just leave after the 2nd wipe without saying anything. I don't even have ACT installed, I feel like if I do that'll be the final nail in the coffin for me, actually being able to see my SAM pull 2.8k dps would destroy any desire I have left to play this game.

Yes, that's generally a good idea. The EXP boost applies to any job under the level of your highest one, so if you do want to level another one early it's fine as long as you keep that in mind.

Any sidequest whose map icon is blue with a + sign unlocks stuff, so prioritize those for sure.

The way crafting/gathering works in this game you pretty much have to level all of them if you want to be efficient. You can do it whenever you want, really.

1) Yes, they get more fun, I don't know what do you mean by aesthetics though.

2) Your boost will last until your level catches up with your most leveled class. So any class you try to level up right now will have a boost until lv 28.

3) Not necessarily, only complete sidequests that have a plus sign on their icon. The rest are optional and could be used to level up an alt class.

5) Whichever you want and whenever you want, it's completely optional. I recommend leveling them up all to 15 at least.

6) Level 30, quest is called My Feisty Little Chocobo.

Conjurer turns to WHM and you get some really cool skills later in the game. I personally find WHM to be the most fun healer. Stick with it and lateron if you happen to dislike it, just lvl another job. Nothing lost.

Yeah sure. I think it is a good idea to get one character to max lvl first before starting another job on it, you will know game better and you will know what you want to play then. The exp boost is true.

Keep most sidequests for a second/third class. There are some neat stories here and there, I like doing them. Some sidequests give you glamour items or pets. The only sidequests you should be doing right now are marked with blue. These unlock new things in the game.

Crafting is some real autism in this game, I would stay away from it until later. You will need ALL crafters at max lvl and all gatherers to truly make anything worth due to cross class skills.

The lvl 20 Main Story Quests unlocks it for you, you get it right after you choose your grand company (one of the city states, it does not matter which one you choose the only differences are glamour and you can change them later on).

After invading for over 2000 hours, I find myself questioning why I invade the way I do.

Very rarely do I wait for them to attack first, and even rarer do I return their bows. A feeling of disgust and revulsion at these players being alive, in human form, makes me treat them as violations to some natural law, under which they deserve to be chainstabbed, stunlocked, and/or peppered with poison arrows + Lloyd's talismans until death.

Nice. I played all the Souls games but never really stepped into the community until about Dark Souls 2 times. I did go back to Dark Souls 1 PC at some point, but Ippiki was already gone. I entered a tournament in Dark Souls 3 but lost, and never really gained any notoriety inside the community, and /dsg/'s DaS3 fight clubs were on PC and I play that game on PS4. I spent a lot of time in /dsg/ until a while ago when I finally switched to this game. Souls games eventually tired me, after all these hours, and I really wanted to get into this one. I doubt any of you remember me from /dsg/ but if you do, I'm one of the Anons who post cute dragons like pic related.

I have yet to get to 70, Anon, which is a shame... but for some reason I felt compelled to level a Paladin instead of progressing with my Red Mage further (my main). I was enjoying deeps a lot, and it was a bit easier when going into some hard trials (been doing the EX fights a couple levels after I unlocked them) because my mistakes are less important (I still watched the strategies and did my best, don't worry, I was talking about the typical mistakes for the first few times) but I felt like I really wanted those instant tank queues, cracked clusters, and I felt like my final calling in this game was going to be tanking. I need to get better, learn my class better, learn all the dungeons and trials, but I'm going to get there eventually.

Well, wall to wall is admittedly an exaggeration on my part (though literal wall to walls should really be possible in basically all cases in Ala Mhigo other than the second portion where you'll want to separate it into a small pull until before the dogs first before doing a big pull at minimum) but double or triple pulls in these experts are still pretty reasonable, again, assuming decent gear.

How do we weed the shitters out of the end game content, I shouldn't have to party up with these fools.
