To get the best results on drops you need to instant kill waves with quick card NPs. Enemies killed by Quick Card NP have a higher chance to drop rare items. AP overflow actually decreases your chances for drops as well.

That Waver sitting at the top? In some situations he can be complete dead weight while a 4* Saber Alter can be a life saver. That Tamamo sitting at 8.0? Useless with a good arts team.
Every servant has its niche except for irredeemable shitters like Scheherazed and Sumanai. Learn to use them and trailor your teams to support each other rather than just throwing top tiers together.

Reroll until you get something usable, complete the story until you run out of EXP overflow. Then add me and anyone else in this general with a broken servant (827319341) and then proceed to the 30 AP EXP daily. Go complete that by using 3 command seals to res the party with NP charged once you fucking die because you probably will. Use all that EXP and level your better shit. Complete the 30 AP EXP daily until you run out of AP overflow. Level up again. If you're lucky you will be able to complete the 30 AP Nerofest with a good support, probably using a Command Seal again. If you did that easily enough you should be able to do the 30 AP Nerofest until you run out of EXP overflow and be somewhat close to where the rest of us are.
Remember to not ever spend quartz on AP, or for shitty rate ups like this one. Save quartz for the Servant you want. You''l need over 400 to have a good chance at a 5* during a rate up. Always burn 3* EXP and CEs in the Shop. Use the Mana Prisms you get from that to buy the Summon Tickets once a month. Do not spend those loosely either.

Like I always use a waver for support for these since he has those NP charging skills, and there are a couple of people on my friends list who have wavers equipped with kaleidoscope or that other 60% one. And like every now and then; I can't find a single one of them on the list, and then later they're back again. This really throws a wrench into smooth farming. I can still do it without 'those specific wavers' or a waver in general, but lacking that NP top-up as well as a third NP to go before my 2 frontliner's NPs (who have kaleido and that 60% one) slows things down noticeably.

There were plenty telling you to balance it all out. Get 1k prisms, 100m qp, and look at what's guaranteed from Nerofest to see what you should farm now to ascend right away. Then there are the idiots who picked one of those and tunnel visioned hard. Materials would have been the biggest waste to focus on though, since the game isn't difficult at this point and between this, moon goddess, and halloween you should be able to ascend most things. QP and prisms will always be relevant grinds.

I use it a lot as first cast for the overcharge boost on my 2 AoE nps
like this is my 'main' speed farming setup
Lancelot (Kaleidoscope) + Kiyo (Imaginary) + Support Waver (Kaleido or Imaginary) + 3 backline randoms I'm leveling bond on or something.
With waver skills 1+2 you can even AoE NP on turn 1 on any servant who has at least imaginary element. (60+30+10), which speeds up the 40ap dailies significantly.
And with nerofest; like for the 'final battles', I generally use Waver NP, Kiyo NP, Lancelot NP, and that'll wipe out 'super' bracket final wave in a single turn. And it's easier there too since wave 1/2 are weaksauce so I don't need to NP burst them down to stop them from killing my berserkers and can just leisurely buster/arts them to death while charging NP for wave 3 nuke.
The fact that his has stun/def down also makes it kind of useful as a 'setup' for following NPs and give you a little wiggle room if you don't partywipe them (i.e. one time on the super, the wave 2 60khp chimera chain-critted jets in wave 2. I only had waver and kiyo at 100% for wave 3 with Cu coming in with 60%Np(imaginary; I got like 5 imaginary element CEs), Kiyo stun at 200% NP5 just is not as reliable as Waver's at 100% NP1, so even though they were all left with like 2000 hp after waver/kiyo NP, they were all stunned, and taken down by alternating chain next turn

I find her useful for preventing enemy NP, and the fact that her NP has damage boost against female servants (which are moderately common as bosses) and heals her a bit. The def debuff she has is alright too. She's not really a heavy hitter, but has a bunch of nice utility functions.

It just depends on what your priority is. Herc is definitely the best 4* that isn't Matthews but Jeanne and Vlad will perform better once the stuff needed for stall and artsmeme teams are out.
