No, learn QBD first, then move on to Araxxor when you are comfortable with QBD. Raids are meme content for money and generally an unnecessary bother to get started with, especially if you don't have friends/good equipment/general experience

And to answer your other question, Yakamaru requires more people to commit to the kill which never is a good thing for feeble minded runegamers. The loot is of course slightly better, but again, without friends/connections you might not have a very good time trying to find a group. Most public teams are awful

I only remember the Slayer date because it was my first.
I remember Summoning because it was on the Saturday of double xp weekend.
It wasn't until Dungeoneering that I started actually tracking them.
Constitution is a guess date based on a break I took at the start of 2015. I just know I got it around 1 week after starting playing again, which I did on the last week of April.

If there are many players using the capes at one time who don't actually have all of the requirements (and perhaps several of the requirements), the capes lose their meaning.

When you're playing Runescape in 2014 the normal way, it's very easy to either forget or ignore everything the game has to offer. Playing ironman over the past week reminded me of just how intertwined everything in the game world is. While there isn't anything inherently wrong with using the grand exchange for everything it almost becomes a chore when training your skills, it becomes second nature to use the grand exchange as a crutch for everything you need to achieve your goals. It becomes a lot of stop and go; buying items to train whatever you need in that moment, then rinse and repeating. Iron man almost has a momentum to it. Gathering everything you need yourself and applying it in your own way to achieve your goals. Planning how to use your resources and how to prioritize everything you do to benefit you in the best way. If you haven't tried ironman out yourself I recommend you give it a shot, it breathes new life into the game and you'll learn a lot about the game you either forget about completely or maybe didn't even know about!
I love this mode and I'm still a noob. My main had 1500ish total and I was bored of just getting everything and just play for maximum exp in everything. If u can't afford something u just do some moneymaking and continue on because of the grand exchange. In this mode, u have to earn it, every step u take feels like an huge achievent and every small goal u have each makes u sleep well at night. I love ironman mode!

I never understood why Jetix went for realistic shading on character textures.
You look at newly updated areas such as Menaphos or Ashdale and the environmental art is pretty damn impressive, yet for some reason it just does not translate well to Runescape characters and armor.
I think if Jagex tried to tone back on the detailed texturing/shading on the textures and instead went for a little bit more basic form of texturing, focusing on using only a few hues of vibrant colors instead of going for a realistic style that uses dull tones.

Exactly, I think character/armors textures would greatly benefit from a "less is more" standard.
A good example of this I think is the 10 year cape.

I think some useful lessons Jetix could learn from their 10 year cap is to use less colors, use less shades of colors, make sure the colors follow a set theme, and finally if there is a need for texture on the item, instead use large simple textures rather than tiny detailed ones

I really do love low resolution painted on details in other games. Particularly single player mecha shit (SO cash).
But it just sucks so hard in RS.
Mainly because the textures have always been an afterthought at best for the longest time. And the world has been created around that.
Even with those plates in the textures having no actual depth, it wouldn't be so bad in a setting where all the world was designed like that.
But here in RS, it contrasts and clashes with even the style of the player they're attached to.

You know, rcb caps damage down to t80, so asc bolts won't do any better. There's no use bringing a switch.

you can use whatever you want, but it caps at t80 damage so anything above that is waste

You can use any usable bolts, really. But damage is still capped to t80.
And you really should augment them. Weapon at least, due to armour requiring higher level.
Shove precise and equilibrium on it. Biting if you get a good role for both on the same gizmo.
Then it won't degrade, but rather take charges from your pack. Much easier to refill for all equipment than keeping track of recharges individually.

What. I think I understand, but please rephrase.
Besides t90p armour, which holds its own charges, augmented gear does not degrade.
Capping its level will not cause it to degrade. It just won't level further.
If you run out of charges, their effective stats drops massively and they no longer level. But you shouldn't let that happen.
