Is there anyway to tell what DLC's and downloads I need to have on a saved town without opening it on the sims 3? I had to reset the sims 3 and it's working fine now, but I can't access these two saved towns cause I don't know what expansion packs and downloadable content Im missing. It gives me the option to go to the town in the main menu if that helps.

DL'd some mods that kept making the game crash, it was some poses so I deleted most and the game kept crashing so I repaired the game and that messed up the game folder, reDl'd fitness pack but I guess I should I have done that parenthood one again and then fitness

Alright so heres the situation anons. I bought sims 3 ambitions on download legally a few years back while I have the physical copies of the rest of the series. I moved all my physical copies onto my new laptop and it works fine, but is there a way for me to move my downloaded game onto my laptop? I still have the old computer even if it's a bit slow.

If you have the registration key of your downloaded game registered to your Sims 3 account, you should be able to download it through Origin (ugghh, I know) if you link your Origin account with your Sims 3 account. I downloaded all my games on Steam, registered them on my Sims 3 account, and they were available to download of Origin immediately afterward.

If you're not opposed to piracy, you could always pirate that one expansion pack and then install your legit copies after that. It'll function like a legitimate copy of the game since it'll have the launcher of whatever retail version you purchased. I've had to do that before when I went to college and left my World Adventures CD at home.
