Lore events and updates are really what they need to do but we need VARIATION
Pretty much the only thing that Riot does now that's lore related is just fucking edgy shit or superhero shit. The animations are garbage and the comics are literally just chuuni manga. I'd also rather they not continue to fuck with the lore like they did in The Retconnining™. What they really need to continue doing is tying in new lore for Bilgewater and GP himself with the GP rework and making more shit like Kayn where the new champion answers PREEXISTING questions about the lore and provides new insight on current champions rather than just making new, almost completely independant characters that are quickly forgotten about like Kled.
In my opinion, Kayn was a really good release even with it's gay comic. We actually had people taking an interest in the lore like wondering if the Darkin are supposed to be the horseman and shit. I want more interesting shit, not turning champions into the batman of their particular city or one off folk tale characters.

Should I keep playing Illaoi? I've hit mastery 7 with her, have been spending this entire time learning her in normals, even the games I lose I win lane well enough but just can't transition that into other lanes. I really enjoy playing her, and am getting better at learning to go at least even with difficult matchups, such as Quinn and Darius.
