You gotta time the peek by using momentum.
Standing normally, strafe a corner, and just before you clear the corner you scope and crouch, it's like a smooth diagonally down movement if executed correctly.

You end up peeking very quickly and being at 100% accuracy without having to counter strafe. If you miss though...
Only crouch peek if you're clearing one angle. A flick can take out a single dude if you don't have cerebral palsy aim, but if you get peppered by bullets being crouched means you're dead, because there's some bullshit movement debuff that works against you, and it's even slower than when you normally get shot (I think uncrouching counts as vertical movement like a jump)

Positioning and gamesense are ass, and your crosshair placement is terrible. It's good you know some smokes, but you're too brazen with your gameplay. You don't clear individual corners or try to pick engagements from only 1 angle (you'll lose 99% of the time) try to play from positions you can fall back from, and maybe set up at another corner from if you get pushed.

Pushing up mid with an awp before any kills have been laid down ain't a good idea, you're left in the open and exposed to about 6 different angles. A lot of your kills are sheer luck because people don't expect you to play like a silver.

As for your anti ecos, you should know when the enemy team is running low on money, pick your bomb sites appropriately, don't make yourselves easy targets for a deagle or whatever. You have money to buy smokes and flashes, where to throw them. You also bait your team way too much. If you want plays to be made, figure out how to execute them, and tell your team your idea (eg. I'm smoking ct)

Round 10 you pick up an ak from an eco, and then push forward with it. Don't do that. A rifles strength isn't using it as a close quarters spray weapon. As a CT your team is stronger if you can hold a position, trading is strictly t-sided, a ct trading means your team has to rotate to compensate, and likely die from getting pushed themselves. There's no need to push.

Keep an eye on your hud. You didn't really notice when the time is running out when you were a CT, wait until they get no money before pulling a wild play, not before.

Your T side the positioning isn't so good, you generally aren't mindful of people pushing from multiple angles or 2 guys being in the same place, and you generally don't stick with your team, preferring to lurk and ending up being out of the action when your team is trying to set up. Remember a lurkers job isn't to pick fights and distract rotators, it's to catch them out.

The turning point for your team and your KD was when you stopped trying to pick mid and pushing down the middle (if the enemy team is too timid to challenge you, don't make it a default play), and instead played with your team in an execute, covering and smoking angles when they pushed forward, and they covering you when you took position (often in the wrong place for your weapon, going connecter from under stairs is a bad idea, you're exposed from jungle, connector, mid, and short). While playing mid you ended up getting flanked when your team went B, as a mid guy it's your responsibility to listen for rotates through T spawn, they weren't quiet about it, and yet they found the bomb and wiped your team out from behind.

Voice is important for information, playing without is a guarantee not to get past MG2. It sucks if you're in a team with people who don't communicate, but people will get the message if you make callouts and don't complain about dying,and they'll start calling out better too. Eg. "Shit I died, one guy on 34 hp apartments, there's another with him, oh wait, I hear them falling back, care for rotates"

Try to track their movements with sound even after the screen goes dark, and let your team know where they 'might' be going. Often you play with retards who don't understand that people falling back means they could be rotating, and then get mad that you made a call where they were 10 seconds ago and 'got them killed'.

I play CSGO competitive very occassionally. I'm still calibrating and over the course of 2 months I've only won 7 matches out of 12. Does rank decay start after I get calibrated or will I get silver 1 no matter the outcome of my following games?
