I want to reaply Morrowind. Is OpenMW worth it at the time? I had a very heavily modded game that corrected a lot of bugs, but I saw that OpenMW is not compatible with those bug-correcting mods. I'm afraid I will have all those nuisances back into the game if I choose to use OpenMW.

I'm having an issue where the hats and face covers added with Wet and Cold for the original Skyrim version aren't equippable in-game.
They show up worn on enemies just like they should, they drop and are lootable, and I see the coverage/warmth stats on the items in my inventory, but when I click to equip it the item I don't even get the click sound or anything happening at all basically.

Aside from me not being able to equip them they seem to function normally.

If anyone has had a similar issue with it or can point me in the direction of possible solutions, I'd appreciate it.

Mortal Enemies is a newer and better version of Attack Commitment.
Frostfall and Hunterborn are good but also memes at the same time. Skyrim is too small of a landmass for realistic survival which is why Frostfall sucks, and Hunterborn is too convoluted and complicated IMO.

That's just unsatisfying though. It's not like the money wasn't earned, it's just that even with mods like iNeed, living in Skyrim costs too little. Giving away or deliberately deleting money without any net gain is boring.

The best option is a mod that introduces something you can spend that money on that's worth the price.

There were quite a few in Morrowind and Oblivion, but it feels like in Skyrim all the modders that introduce neat shit have it all show up in a barrel or something in-game for free. That's not fun.

Yes, but even so TKRE shouldn't crash on startup unless you've screwed up the installation.

So long as you configured your enblocal.ini properly and copied all the files to the right spots there's no reason it'd crash on startup.

Just a few thinsg that might help. I doubt these would be what'd cause the CTD but weirder things have happened...

Set enablecompression=true

Add EnableUnsafeFixes=false below prioritymode in Threads

Set EnableEdgeAA to false (SweetFX handle AA with TKRE)

Since vsync is turned off, I recommend turning the FPSLimit to True and setting the limit to 60.0 as going above that can fuck with physics. (This only really matters if the game starts working though)

If none of that helps then I'm 100% out of ideas.

Yeah I do the same. The ones where you rescue a citizen makes npcs actually be teleported to dungeons but I'm not sure how it works. It sucks when I get a quest from solitude in riften though.

Why wouldn't she put on clothing under the armor? Leaving that much skin exposed is awful for so very, very, very many reasons.
