Yeah as someone who plays a lot of gacha games DW is pretty down the list for gifts in my book. I'd say the great thing is compared to other gacha games we get consistent rewards even when there is no event. The main trade-off in my mind is the lack of huge rewards that more comparable horrible-rate gacha games like Dokkan and friends give when an event happens. The other top dogs have their gimmicks to stay in the top and I'd say FGO's is the reliance on limited servant gacha's which is pretty shitty for the average F2P.

I'm going to feel really disappointed compared to what Dokkan is doing for it's 2nd anniversary. They've given out probably around 300 stones, introduced new units that have a rateup beside other really good older units, had discounted 10 rolls with every 4th 10 roll being free, each 10 roll gives you tickets which allows you to roll in a gacha that has a chance of pulling a LR, every event is 1/2AP, you get tickets twice daily that allow you to do a free single, and there's new story events.

Magibullets. They turn all their spells/traps into hand traps and have effects that proc when a spell or trap is played in their column. Usually very simple, good stuff like "search anything" or "recover anything from the graveyard."

They basically only Normal Summon as well and their spells/traps have effects like lower a target's stats to 0 and negate their effects for 1 turn or double a Magibullet's stats for 1 turn.

They're absolutely insane and their simplicity makes it seem like they're going to be one of those archetypes with staying power similar to Lightsworn.

Nobody and nothing will revive the quick meta. It won't happen unless there's a quick-oriented support servant to rival Merlin. But there isn't, and there most likely never will be. And even supposing there was, it's a fact that the bleeding-edge buster crowd is just plain better than their quick counterparts. Quick has fewer servants to build a team around. They don't have a Cu Alter, a Jeanne Alter, an Ozy, or a Quetz. There's Scat, Jack, and Okita. Who the fuck was using Drake for damage even before Merlin was around? Jack can do some support, but she's really the odd one out. Scat and Okita are good, but if you've got the option to build a team around a buster like one of the ones mentioned here, why the fuck wouldn't you?L
