so I always thought elo hell was that point where you somehow get an MMR thats several tiers lower than your actual rank (think gold 3 MMR with plat 3 rank) so that you win 5-6 LP per game, but lose like 30 on a loss, meaning you have to win 10x as many games as you lose just to climb at all

If there's one thing I don't get about junglers is their need to gank lanes that "don't need it". You can be pushed in and ganked constantly by the enemy jungler, maybe even dived under turret, and the jungler won't so much look in your direction.

There are still some season 6 leftovers around, dynamic queue was a fucking disaster and it's better to explain it by my personal experience I guess.
On my main account, trapped between Plat III and I since season 4, I found a lot of people who got their shiny Diamond V border thanks to 3-5 premades and you can fucking tell it and abuse them. They're not the typical boosted shitters, but the ones who are used to trust someone else decisions and end up being the only one who initiates, or the only one not following the fight. So Plat games are even more of a fiesta than before.
On the other hand, my smurf account which I strictly play offmeta shit like Soraka adc, reached Platinum this season for the first time. Getting Plat this season seems to be easier than ever thanks for the shit I mentioned before, as you WILL found a lot of boosted animals in Gold, more than ever before, thanks mainly to Dynamic Queue making "Duo Boosting" a think on boosting sites.
So I hope this wall of text helps and makes sense.

Kennen, Kayle, Corki and even Vayne are all viable choices if your team decides to be comitted to choosing all AD champs; it's only really relevant if they have armor stacking tanks, like Rammus or Malphite, on their team as well. In some comps it doesen't matter whether you went all AD or not.

It's much more difficult to beat the other team, when you're focusing on typing and insulting each other.

Dragons have been separated into four elements
Cloud (out of combat move speed), Mountain (bonus true damage to structures and epic monsters) Ocean(increased regen), and Infernal (damage up)
at 35 mins the Elder Dragon spawns. It amplifies the other dragons effects if you have them and gives a true damage ignite on all damaging abilities
