They've given zero indication that they're a competent dev team that should be trusted with anything, and while people will say that's true of GBF too, the game doesn't hinge so completely on winning 1v1 so it's not as grievous.

For instance last expansion they were going to Forest a legitimate late game control legendary but Timmy got upset that they were trying to actually improve the state of the game over dropping some BIG IMPACT card that was actually garbage in practice, so they willingly left it as a shit legendary. They "focus" on midrange shadow, it becomes half the ladder and gets nerfed twice after three months of shit when the first nerf does nothing.

Now Blood is tier 1 on its own and they're actually going to have to stop bullshitting and "change" legendaries this time because they just can't stop fucking up. Seeing how they're rushing 3 month expansion cycles, they're never going to actually balance anything until it's shit up the game for at least a month that should be spent in development, it's just not worth it anymore.

Is it just me or did the game get a lot more boring or predictable since the anniversary? I know people were complaining even then, but before the anniversary was KMR-era GBF really that different from November to March HRT-era GBF? We still got tickets with regularity and the christmas, new year's, 14 million, and anniversary celebrations matched their HRT equivalents. Characters would show up in the gacha with no real regularity so there was still a reason to look forward to the news every day, and those new characters were, more often the not, actually new like Anthuria, Yuisis, Marq,
and Razia. Legfest wasn't literally always on the last day of every month and the advent of the rainbow meta and the first xeno ifrit event did admittedly shake this up a bit. We even had a collab of an old 90s game property.

But since the anniversary we've followed the same schedule.
