To be fair, Ash's default hair is already pretty unnatural, which is Red. Also, Ash has quite the robust personality, so it fits. At the same time, Lian's hair only changes between white and black, while Zhin's hair only changes between black, white and burnt or sth, since Lian is supposed to be a graceful and royal princess, while Zhin is supposed to be a serious warlord.

If you're good at dueling and positioning you can do well with her, the only thing is that vs players who can actually aim you fall to your knees faster then a 20 dollar whore outside a strip club past midnight on a Tuesday. I find her way easier to carry with then someone like Drogoz but I can't lizard for the life of me.

Just make sure you take blast flower, Scorn is okay but really doesn't work unless the map is really small with little wiggle room, even then blast flower will still give the deeps.

It really depends on how much foundation you have, If you have no experience in the genre at all you're pretty much like everyone else and starting from scratch. You can be gifted mechanically but it can only get you so far if you don't really understand flow/momentum well. Its why aimbot while useful isn't a free win in this game, you can hit 100% of your headshots on viktor but if you positioning is bad you'll still lose games vs good players.

What is the most important thing is team play and actually playing off of your teammates. You need to train yourself to not go full tunnel vision in the game, even if you're a great flank player if you ignore the Nando that is fucking up your back line and he gets a free double kill it really doesn't matter what you do yourself even if you get a few picks. When you play front line you need to actually play smart, you can't just afk on the point and hope for the best, those that do usually end up losing the game by themselves. Same thing with support, always reacting to the current situation and not just playing on auto pilot.

As you can more experience in paladins/competitive games in general you learn the dos and don'ts over time. The average player in Paladins is someone who basically never played an FPS before and has no concept of teamwork, its up to you to play around them instead of assuming they know what they're doing. As you climb the ranks and start playing with better players everything becomes much more fluid but at the start you pretty much need to drill it into your head that everyone you play with is a house plant that needs to be watered, but not to much or everyone dies. Using myself as an example I'm in the top 0.20% of players, I've played games competitively on some level since at least 2004 and overall I'm trash at this game, I struggle hard vs guys like stolzey and Bitey. Moral of the story is learn from every game and don't be a faggot when you lose, just figure out why you lost.

But the reason why Cassie is so fucking hard to deal with is that she shoots logs, has easy combos, decent HP and damage, can start and win engagements from afar, and is overall just easy to use. I WILL agree that an amazing Andro is actually quite a bit scarier than an amazing cassie, but the thing about that is, only a very, very small amount of people can actually play andro that well. Learning to play Cassie? Well, good thing you don't have to worry about headshots, you already shoot for a fuckton of damage with dodgeroll. Oh they're near a corner? Good thing a huge hitbox paired with a giant projectile means you should have no problem shooting them, even if you miss their hitbox completely in a duel, you STILL get the hit. Top that off with a nice AoE skill for finishers and boom, get combo'd bitch.
