Aurelion Sol has literally never been buffed since his release, every patch has been a bugfix that broke other shit or a straight nerf, most of the time multiple.

LeBlanc went from being le meme burster to clunky garbage with 0 consent from the playerbase.

And Karma was a unique champion that was underplayed, then got reworked into generic garbage despite community outcry, and now regularly gets railed by faces of riot like literal Phreak for being a boring trash champion.

Someone say something nice about literally any of these three.

Karma was there second rework ever, and I think the first when it came to major ability changes. Riot honestly learned a huge lesson from her, which is why many reworks afterwards didnt change the character "theme" so dramatically. If there were to do rework old Karma now, she would probably look a lot different than what we got. Unfortunate, but maybe one day they will do a pass and change her back from generic poke/shield slut.

The thing that gets me is that there was literally nothing wrong with old Karma. Her winrate was fine among people who actually played her, her kit didn't have any toxic elements whatsoever, they literally cited her fan's missing health % heal as the #1 reason to rework her, then gave it to literally every fucking healer in the game a season later.

I still remember the thread where they backpedaled and said "haha no it's her passive, it's free stats and that's so OP!!", left every other example of it in the game, and consistently tacks free stat shit onto every other new champion in the game. Yeah, there philosophy was much different then than now, especially in the case of what was healthy for the game. If they did her now, I expect they would keep many of her old elements, perhaps in healthier forms, instead of going through and completely changing her. You can see this in the case of champs like Soraka, where despite healing being a disliked mechanic, Riot worked around it and made it much healthier (though many people here may not agree, but I find her much healthier than old soraka).

You are 100% right about the ARAM part at 15 minutes, and i always thought that it would be best not to go there, but then i wouldn't have nothing to do. This is the situation i end up in most of the time:
