So I had a dream where I think I figured out a pretty good way to do PvP.
You do it like chain battle with maybe 3, 5, or 7 rounds against each other on random maps and you have to choose a different team each time. Now the trick is that it's against the AI using whatever units your opponent picked for that round and vice versa. So if you pick 4 legions then that's what you opponent has to beat. There would also be a timer of course like one minute per turn and only 6 turns max per round.
Players could bet feathers against each other so they'd put up 100 feathers at the start and if they win they'll get 250 back for example.

The quality of content took a nosedive. GHBs aren't worth fighting anymore, and content is basically down to "how autistic do you want to be" if it's not a joke to begin with.

Tempest was fucking stupid and is the kind of shit that easily burns people out. I actually ran the numbers the other day. If you take out all of the Crystal rewards and downgrade the other rewards to fill the gaps, Phantom Speed is only like 10~15k Tempest points at most. The fact that the game actively penalizes you for blowing Crystals on units just makes it even more retarded.

Coincidentally, all of those have enemy units with inflated stats and called it a day (Lunatic TTs to be precise). They can be done, but it's just more tedium to add onto that,and you feel more burned out (and relieved) once you're finished with it.

I'm 100% certain that this can be done in 2 turns, but it requires an incredibly unlikely miss on the Sleep staff against Haar, which I really wasn't willing to reset for when the 3 turn is actually a piece of cake, I was dreading this map but with the team the Silvers have it was actually very leisurely

Micaiah Wrath-bombed a Wyvern with Nosferatu to stay alive through the heat she was taking, which shows that investing a good amount into her early is very helpful

Sanaki proved herself again, going down into the thick of everything alongside Jill, my opinion of her in this game is changing very quickly (unitwise at least)

Another highlight was Sigrun, who used a Convoy-warp trick to get the Rescue staff into the Convoy so the Hawk army can use it for a 1 turn of 4-5

Also it's funny that Micaiah says the same thing to BK even though he didn't even appear on the map, I guess they didn't expect people to clear it so quickly

If the tempest trial had a score multiplier based on the total cumulated points, similar to the Gauntlet, would that be better? Make it so it only affects those under a certain threshold and up to a final threshold, so that if you went over it thanks to the bonus, you'd instantly be cut off. That way those who were grinding the fuck out of the tempest wouldn't ever really be passed by the lower tiers, they'd only be "tugging" them along so to speak, helping them get the free stuff. Make it last as week as a sort of "test speed tempest".

That's fantastic to hear, but it saddens me since it's just about the only thing I enjoy from this horseshit game. TT was the worst thing to happen to the game. Everything that has spawned after has only hurt it. Really wish I could stop playing it, but my luck has been pretty great. The thing is, Seliph also isn't a big investment. You put some experience into Seliph, he's done, big whoop. For Alfonse, you need to put 20k feathers that could go better into someone else. 40k if you don't have a 5* Ogma or Cain if you want him to actually do something. And you have to go through 5 Alfonse arena seasons for him to be worth it, except you can use the GHB unit instead and at 4* they'll offer roughly the same performance, so you'd need to go through many arena seasons where Alfonse would get you into a higher arena tier than the GHB unit would, which is very rare.

Olivia is a top tier cutie and has some good supports.

Since I took Chroms waifu I gave him what I thought as an even better option for him. Gets a busted daughter, gets a SON (seeing him freakout about him having a son in the future was cute), second adorable family in the game, and it makes more sense when Lissa states they got married quick (even tho they show right then and there the entire A-S support.) It's a Much better option for him then Sumia.
