Quicken boosts damage of some 3rd class skill. I guess it doesn't matter now, but when they'll introduce 3rd classes and you'll want that skill, you'll have to reset.
Also to help 2h spears (and swords) Leika has slightly increased mods for some skills when used with 2h weapons. Basically you can sacrifice defence for more more damage that is actually visible.

Not him, but also a member of the strongest race. It's fine for the most part, not half a second at all but it depends on where you are. In cities it can take up to a couple of seconds, but that's mostly because of the number of people playing. Not sure about him but I'm having some difficulty with kiting because sometimes the mob just speeds up suddenly. It takes constant double strafe spamming to animation lock some mobs.
It can get real laggy during primetime (8pm to 12 midnight) due to the 50% increased exp, but it doesn't matter for the most part.
